*A RESPONSE TO ISRAEL’S CONDEMNATION OF MALAYSIA FOR PROHIBITING ISRAELI ATHLETES FROM COMING TO MALAYSIA.*
Israel is indisputably the biggest hypocrite in their condemnation of Malaysia. Their attempt to play the “victim card” is pathetic and despicable.
Hypocrite Israel condemns Malaysia for allegedly “Politicising sports”.
Has Hypocrite Israel forgotten the banned placed by them on Gaza’s Ittihad Al-Shejaiya football team from crossing into the West Bank to play the final match of the Palestine football cup?
Isn’t that politicising Sports?
Has Hypocrite Israel forgotten how they illegally control which Palestinian athletes can leave their homeland for training or tournaments?
Isn’t that politicising Sports?
Has Hypocrite Israel forgotten how they illegally appointed themselves as the “guardians” of Palestine by deciding who can and cannot play against Palestinian athletes in their very own country?
Isn’t that politicising Sports?
Heck, has Hypocrite Israel forgotten how they pressured the US National Basketball Association (NBA) to preclude Palestine from its list in 2018? Sadly, NBA bowed down to the despicable Sports Minister of Israel.
Where was the self-righteous, victim-playing, Hypocrite Israel then?
As the Minister of Youth & Sports of Malaysia, I stand firm with Malaysia’s decision.
Malaysia should not be a complicit to a brutal and inhumane regime. Our Palestinian brothers and sisters have been murdered in cold blood and those who live, imprisoned for life in the open air prison, tightly controlled by the Israeli regime.
While Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch have condemned Israeli aggression and war crimes, Hypocrite Israel still tries to play the victim-card towards the international community.
Where was the humanity when Mohammed Tamim had half his skull crushed by Israel’s rubber bullet, while the regime brushed it off as an injury from falling off a bicycle?
Where was the humanity when the legless, wheel chaired Ibrahim Abu Thuraya was murdered by the Israeli regime while being on the other side of the fence?
Where was the humanity when more than a 100 peaceful protestors were murdered while thousands more injured for protesting against the invasion of their home, Palestine?
If South Africa can be banned from the Olympics for its Apartheid regime,
Malaysia as a sovereign country has the right to ban the murderous, state-sponsored, War Criminal, apartheid Israeli regime from coming to peace-loving Malaysia.
I stand with my Palestinian brothers and sisters, not Hypocrite Israel.
Syed Saddiq

Allen Iverson has no problem passing up a
potential winning shot when he knows the ball is going to Kyle
Korver.
Korver made a go-ahead jumper with 6.5 seconds left, and Iverson
returned from a three-game absence to score 27 points in the
Philadelphia 76ers' 89-88 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Monday
night.
"You see a guy in his second year who's able to hit a big shot
like that, it says a lot about him as a player," Iverson said.
"It says a lot about his confidence and the confidence the
coaching staff and we have in him."
Korver hit five 3-pointers and shot 6-for-9 overall to finish
with 17 points. He has 126 3-pointers, fifth on the Sixers'
single-season list. He sank at least four 3s for the 14th time this
season.
"I sometimes feel like I'm in a real groove and that's how I
felt tonight," Korver said. "I felt like I shouldn't have missed
many shots."
Kenny Thomas scored 12 for the Sixers, who opened a four-game
homestand.
Stephen Jackson scored 25 points and Jermaine O'Neal had 21
points and 10 rebounds for the Pacers, who lost their fifth
straight.
The Sixers sure are getting used to these dramatic wins against
the Pacers. In November, Iverson beat them with the first
buzzer-beating shot of his nine-year career on a 14-footer in
overtime.
"I was thinking maybe I could get another game-winner against
that team," Iverson said.
Indiana led 88-87 when Thomas made a nice little hook pass to
Samuel Dalembert under the basket. Dalembert, though, had his dunk
blocked by O'Neal, the Pacers recovered and Jackson was fouled.
Jackson, playing his fourth game since returning from a 30-game
suspension for his role in the brawl in Detroit, missed both free
throws with 15.1 seconds left.
Iverson, who had missed three straight games with a shoulder
injury, dribbled down the lane, ran into O'Neal and kicked it out
to Korver, who was coming off a screen. With no one in front of
him, the mop-topped guard sank a 20-footer from the left side and
moved the Sixers (21-23) into first place by a half-game over
Boston in the Atlantic Division.
"Our main goal is to win the Atlantic Division. We don't care
about records," Iverson said.
Jackson's missed free throws were his only misses in seven
attempts, leaving him inconsolable in the locker room.
"If I hit the free throws, we win the game. I take full
blame," Jackson said. "If they say it wasn't my fault, they're
wrong. I apologized to my teammates."
Each team had plenty of chances, but neither gave the other much
room in the fourth. There were 17 lead changes and 11 ties in the
game.
The Sixers' 81-78 lead was erased on a 3-pointer by Fred Jones
with 4:48 left. Jones then gave the Pacers an 88-85 lead with 1:29
left when he made all three free throws after he was fouled by
Iverson on a 3-point attempt.
Iverson, the NBA's leading scorer, cut it to 88-87 on a couple
of free throws, and the Pacers never scored again.
"Every game is important for every team fighting for the
playoffs right now," Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said. "This is
just another missed opportunity."
Indiana closed the third with a 21-8 run to wipe out a 10-point
deficit. Reggie Miller hit a 3-pointer to tie the score and O'Neal
put the Pacers ahead 63-62 on a 17-footer from the left side.
O'Neal also had three blocked shots and the Pacers finished with
nine overall.
Game notes
Pacers PG Jamaal Tinsley left in the second quarter with a
sprained left foot and did not return. ... Jones finished with 12
points. ... Sixers F Glenn Robinson, who has not played this season
and made few appearances with the team, was in the locker room
before the game. ... Actor Jamie Kennedy ("Malibu's Most Wanted")
was at the game. ... The Sixers have played nine more road games
than home games this season, but that starts to even out in
February. They play eight of their 11 games at home and two of the
road trips are to New York and New Jersey. ... Corliss Williamson,
Iverson and O'Neal were whistled for technical fouls.

Allen Iverson doesn't expect his fractured right ring finger to feel better anytime soon.
Taking time off down the stretch, with the Denver Nuggets fighting for a playoff spot, simply isn't an option.
So, he's learned to accept the pain.
Not that the finger affected him Friday night. Iverson scored 28 points, going 9-of-12 from the floor, as the Nuggets blew out the Toronto Raptors 137-105 for their fifth straight win at home.
The Denver guard hit seven straight attempts before missing a 3-pointer early in the third quarter. He also made all 10 of his free throws.
"It felt OK before the game," Iverson said. "Now, it feels that much worse. It's throbbing like a heartbeat."
Iverson, who hurt his finger against San Antonio a week ago, slips on a brace after every game per doctors orders.
"If I didn't wear this brace to keep it straight after every game, there's a chance it will get worse and I'll have to get a pin," he said.
Yet he refuses to wear anything on the finger in a game.
"I'm just real superstitious," Iverson said.
Nuggets coach George Karl would like to get Iverson some rest, but there's no time, not with the Nuggets currently on the outside glancing into the playoffs. They trail Golden State for the last spot.
"I don't think we can lose a [player] because of an injury the rest of the way," Karl said. "It's the time of year where we have to play like it's a playoff circumstance. Everybody is hurting a little bit -- A.I. is probably at the top of the list."
The Nuggets' 137-point output is the second-most points the team has scored this season. They still have the NBA high mark for the season with a 138-point performance in a win at Seattle on Feb. 27.
But Iverson was more impressed with Denver's defensive performance on Friday. The Nuggets held the Raptors to just 3-of-12 shooting from 3-point range. Toronto came in with the top percentage in the league at 41 percent.
"If we come in and do what we what we got to do defensively, nine times out of 10 we're going to take care of business," Iverson said. "We weren't trying to beat them by 30, we just wanted to beat them convincingly."
The Nuggets got their point across.
"Last two games, we're not guarding anybody," said Sam Mitchell, whose team has now dropped three straight to start a five-game road trip. "We're not guarding anybody, and if you're not guarding anybody, you're going to come out of the game."
Carmelo Anthony finished with 22 points, and Marcus Camby had 17 points and 10 rebounds for his 24th double-double of the season.
Chucky Atkins came off the bench to finish with 17 points, including five 3-pointers. Atkins has missed a majority of the season after surgery to repair a right groin/abdominal strain. The Nuggets are trying to work him into the rotation.
"He's a pro," Karl said. "He knows how to play, has a sense for the game."
With a 30-point lead heading into final quarter, the starters were given the rest of the night off -- except Iverson. He played moments into the quarter before being subbed out.
The break would've been nice, but he doesn't think his finger will fully heal until this summer.
"It's going to continue to bother me," he said. "But I'm not going to make any excuses, whether I play good or bad. I won't blame it on the finger."
The Raptors were without Chris Bosh, who missed his eighth straight game because of a sore right knee. Anthony Parker scored 19 points and reserve Carlos Delfino added 16.
"We were nonexistent today and Denver did whatever they wanted offensively," Parker said.
The Nuggets scored 79 points in the first half, the most Toronto has allowed for a half in franchise history. The previous high was 78 which the Los Angeles Clippers scored on the Raptors in the second half on March 13, 1998.
The Raptors also allowed a team-record 44 points in the first quarter.
"This game was fun," said Camby, a former Raptors player. "You always want to beat your former teams, and the guys did a great job."
Game notes
The Nuggets are 13-2 against the Eastern Conference at the Pepsi Center this season. ... Before the game, Toronto announced it had filed a statement of claim against the Spanish Basketball Federation for nonpayment of insurance related Jorge Garbajosa's injury. Garbajosa underwent more surgery on his left leg and ankle on Dec. 11 in Baltimore.
