Meet the newest member of Las Cafeteras @yoyoma ✨😄

Before Headlining the @hollywoodbowl tonight - he came to the Barrio to jam out and sing “La Bamba Rebelde” with us ❤️ He didn’t announce it - he didn’t do it for promotion or for “likes” - he just wanted to go to different parts of the city and connect & learn & share

Earlier in the day he met with Cultural workers like @ronfinleyhq and played alongside Tongva artist @kelly_mija

After the meeting with LA organizers - he met us at Hollenbeck Park … we walked through the neighborhood … took pictures with @corissahernandez as we passed by @houseofxelas … walked over to Mariachi Plaza and played for the Mariachis waiting for the next gig ❤️ Right in front of Santa Cecilia Restaurant (the Patron Saint of Music)

I was able to meet @yoyoma the person - not the artist - we joked and laughed & talked about how music is medicine … and how important culture & connection is at this time

Today, I am exploring the neighborhood of Tanjong Pagar, one of Singapore's largest business district. The area is also known for having a lot ofJapanese restaurants and services. But there should be more to this former fishing village from the 1800s. I came here to explore what we can find.

I’ve been spending the last two or three weeks studying Wolof, a West African language spoken in Senegal, the Gambia, and Mauritania, and today I’ve come to Harlem to try it out in NYC’s Little Senegal neighborhood, including at the Malcolm Shabazz Harlem Market and the great Senegalese restaurant Le Baobab on 116th street.

If you haven’t had the opportunity to try Senegalese cuisine, I would highly recommend checking out the ceebu jën (also spelled thieboudienne) here, which is Senegal’s national dish! It’s also the origin of the popular Nigerian and Ghanaian dish “jollof rice” — the word “jollof” actually originally refers to Wolof!

今日はさいたま市にオープンした「家」のつかない家系ラーメンへ！埼玉県さいたま市にある『麺屋紫極』へお邪魔してきました！こちらは視聴者の方から教えて頂き伺ってきました。お店のあるさいたま新都心駅界隈でも本格的な家系ラーメンが食べられるお店ということで人気のお店です！ラーメンの食べ歩きが好きだった店主の方が中野にある『二代目武道家』に感銘を受け、仕事を辞め「武道家」で修行された後に『紫極』をオープンされたのだそうです。食べ歩いてきた知識や味の記憶から生まれる家系ラーメンは非常に丁寧に作られており、ガツンとくる豚骨ながらも上品さも感じられる1杯でした。また、こちらは15時までライス無料を行っており、そんなサービスも非常にありがたいです！それでは早速ご覧ください！
