1. Shudder before the beautiful
托馬斯表示這首讓他想起Once甚至是Oceanborn裡面的歌，是15年來第一次再次出現鍵盤
和吉他的對奏，是很早期的夜願風格。歌詞和Elan類似，是關於美麗的世界。
2. Weak fantasy
主要是Marco寫的，歌詞由Marco和Tuomas共同完成，可能是專輯裡最重的，現場會很嗨。
3. Elan
長期以來對托馬斯個人而言這首會是從專輯中踢出去的，他認為這首很美麗，但是在DEMO
階段並沒有做很多效果，而在和樂隊一起排練的時候，這首歌才真的煥發光彩，大概是
Marco或者Troy建議這首取代Edema Ruh作為第一支單曲。
4. Yours is an empty hope
這首也是和Marco一起寫的。
5. Our decades in the sun
這首歌是對父母的致敬，可能是專輯裡面最難搞定的歌，因為它是如此細膩如此親密。
歌詞的主題對我們所有人都是如此重要，所以排練和錄製的時候有不少人都哭了，但最後
這首成為了專輯中的一個亮點。
6. My walden
凱爾特風格，還我淚來續集。
7. Endless forms most beautiful
受啟發於Richard Dawkins的書The Ancestor's Tale。
8. Edema Ruh
來自一本托馬斯最喜歡的幻想小說The Name of The Wind （Patrick Rothfuss著），
Edema Ruh是吟遊音樂家、演員在村落間穿行演出、謀生，就像中世紀的吉普賽吟遊詩人
，但Edema Ruh只是作者的幻想。你可以看出這其中的相關性，我們（Nightwish）視自己
為當代的Edema Ruh。
9. Alpenglow
終極夜願風格，它包含了夜願一直以來歌頌的所有元素，有很典型的夜願riff，吸引人的
副歌，是一首不錯的小插曲。
10. The eyes of Sharbat Gula
有點怪的器樂曲。受啟發於《國家地理》雜誌封面上的照片，決心一定要寫一首關於戰爭
中孩子的歌。Troy建議不要歌詞會更有力量。是整張專輯的一個間奏曲。
11. The greatest show on earth
穿越了地球上46億年的進化。
總體而言，托馬斯認為這張專輯是9首歌，一首間奏，然後是真正的好
戲。
吧友表示:Marco背了好大一個黑鍋。
個人是覺得最後的動物世界還蠻讓人驚豔的
也是少數幾首被認為有發揮Floor實力的歌
