Ill admit, when i first saw the ice bucket challenge i went No... But how is that going to help anyone? What is ALS? And then I googled it. Now I know. Before that, I had never even heard of ALS.They call it slacktivism, attention seeking... Ok, but... if out of every 10, 1 person donated and/or 1 person cared, thats still 1 person more. Right?I think... Skepticism is good;You cant believe everything.Questioning intention is also good; You cant trust everyone.Doing something is also good.You can try to trust yourself?If you are not into saving the world making a difference, there should be no judgement. But it goes both ways. Dont judge people who want to. Whichever we choose, we dont have to shut one down for the other to be valid. Right?Anyway.I chose the Home Nursing Foundation because they help the elderly age with dignity in their own homes. They provide subsidised nursing services, medical supplies and medicine. And if that is something you want/can contribute to, the donation link is here! http://www.hnf.org.sg/donate/So. Now I see the Ice Bucket Challenge and I think Yes, and... Why the hell not.
