王牌出手 ~『Montecristo Double Edmundo』
#Montecristo 品牌的歷史可以追溯到1935年，其原始尺寸之一Montecristo No. 2仍然是世界上最受歡迎的雪茄之一。 （Cigar Aficionado票選出的2013年度雪茄。）
然而，任何一款雪茄品牌，無論是成功的還是乏人問津的，都需要注入些活水讓雪茄客們覺得耳目一新。因此Habanos SA在2004年推出了『Edmundo』系列，以拓展Montecristo品牌的產品線。
Montecristo Edmundo系列是一款更加厚實的雪茄，環徑為50。緊接著在2007年，Montecristo推出了Petit Edmundo，更胖、且更短。
2013年，Montecristo更換雪茄標之際，『#DoubleEdmundo』也在這一年頂著新標進入市場。它和Petit一樣厚實，但更長，這樣的雪茄尺寸趨向非古巴系列的大尺寸主流，也是趨勢，因為這樣的雪茄能夠捲入更多配方葉，為雪茄客呈現更多層次的風味與口感。
Montecristo Edmundo系列雪茄（Edmundo，Double Edmundo和Petit Edmundo）很快地就超越改品牌的其他暢銷款，受到眾多雪茄客的喜愛，嚴然已成為Montecristo該品牌的王牌。
小編尤其特別鍾愛Double Edmundo，他就是我記憶中的古巴雪茄。

大家應已知道該品牌的名字來源於亞歷山大·杜馬斯（Alexandre Dumas）的小說“基督山恩仇記”（The Count of Monte Cristo）。
Edmundo 系列就是來自故事的主角Edmundo Dantes。(Dantes也是雪茄系列名)
這樣的命名方式挺有趣，也有其依循性。正如許多古巴品牌一樣，Montecristo試圖藉由在其品牌名延伸相關的命名來向其根源致敬，也因此後人也有說故事的題材。（Cohiba Behike或Partagas Lusitania也是喔）。
梗鋪了這樣久，開始進入品茄主題。
Double Edmundo在2014菜鳥年就已經進入明星隊，取得該年最後歡迎的25支雪茄中，排名第15位，評分為92/100。
點燃後吸入的第一口，猶如聽著德布西的"月光"，感受到愉悅與靜逸。極其明顯的杉木味，隨著燃燒溫ˋ度帶出些許的花生和奶油的鹹甜味道，小編很喜歡。
到目前為止，我所抽的所有Edmundos系列幾乎都有完美的捲菸結構。漂亮扎實的包裝和外觀。抽的過程體驗很棒，容易抽出濃煙，但這樣可以提醒你要慢慢地抽，品嘗這支雪茄，我喜歡採取超級慢和長時間的抽吸來確保它不會過熱。
前段結束前要特別注意，悄悄流過的香氣中會顯露出一些櫻桃味，挺逗!
抽到一半後，Double Edmundo的第二部分似乎靜置下來，層次延續著前三分之一，但就是死寂了，儘管整體仍然令人愉快，但仍可以明確得到一些杉木和可可的味道，且由於結構良好，抽到中段燃燒依舊完美啊。
抽到後段，完全可以品嚐到關於標準古巴雪茄基調:皮革、奶油與木質香。且比開始時更甘甜，我覺得它似乎正在為一場即將營的結局而最後後努力演出。
小小可惜，抽到最後...，苦澀的音符出現了(但這通常都是雪茄客都會常遇到的狀況)，就像一個丟入水中的水鴛鴦，撲通後結束了，並沒有出現選舉場候選人大進場的驚豔句點。
上一段，顯得小編有點雞蛋裡挑骨頭了。
Double Edmundo是支一定要抽的雪茄，他喚起了我對古巴的記憶。總的來說，這是一支很好的雪茄，我相信它完整了Montecristo雪茄款式陣容，並且可以延續長達10到15年。這款不會是長期收藏的雪茄，但它會一直是我的心頭好。
如果您一直想嘗試或找回古巴雪茄的味道，那麼Montecristo Double Edmundo就是您的雪茄。
