ทีมงาน Insomniac สามารถยกระดับ มาตรฐานของเกม Platformer Shooter ได้อีกครั้ง ไม่ใช่แค่ภาพและเสียงที่ทำออกมาได้อย่างยอดเยี่ยมดุจนั่งชม หนัง animation ฟอร์มใหญ่ แต่ยังอัดแน่นไปด้วยสิ่งต่างๆมากมายที่เหมือนเป็นการ show ศักยภาพของเครื่อง Gen ใหม่อย่าง PlayStation 5 ว่ายิ่งใหญ่ขนาดไหน ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการเดินทางข้ามมิติอย่างรวดเร็ว feature ของ DualSense Controller ที่เพิ่มสัมผัสการรับรู้ให้กับ Gameplay ได้อย่างไม่น่าเชื่อ แม้ว่าจะใช้ประโยชน์ของการมี 2 ตัวละครหลักน้อยไปซักหน่อย แต่ด้วยสิ่งต่างๆที่กล่าวมา บวกเข้ากับจุดเด่นของ Franchise อย่าง เรื่องราวที่น่าติดตามผสมมุกตลกที่แสนเพลิดเพลิน และ Mechanic ในการเล่นที่สนุกสะใจ ไม่มีเบื่อตลอดเกม ที่แทบจะหาเกมแนวนี้มาเทียบในตลาดยากมากๆ ดังนั้นหากคุณคือผู้ที่ได้ครอบครอง PlayStation 5 แล้ว ก็ไม่มีเหตุผลอะไรที่จะปฏิเสธการผจญภัยไปกับคู่หูสุดป่วน ที่จะฉีกกระชากข้ามมิติและดวงดาวสุดอลังการใน Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart

ในภาคนี้นั้นทีมผู้พัฒนาได้เผยว่าได้นำเอาระบบที่ยอดเยี่ยมที่สุดในเกม FPS สมัยนี้อย่างระบบ Ping System มาใส่ไว้ในเกมนี้ด้วย ระบบนี้ ทาง Gamespot อ้างว่าเปิดตัวครั้งแรกบนเกม Apex Legends และมันยอดเยี่ยมมากจนหลาย ๆ เกมต้องนำมาใช้ตาม ล่าสุดทาง Black Ops Cold War ก็นำมาใส่ไว้ในเกมตนเองแล้ว โดยมันเป็นวิธีที่ดีที่สุดในการสื่อสารโดยไม่ต้องใช้เสียง
