"No relationship was found between pancreatic adipose tissue infiltration and beta cell function, regardless of glucose tolerance status."

"Pancreatic fat content was increased in individuals with IFG and/or IGT, without a direct relation with β-cell function."

"Fatty pancreas was not associated with HOMA-β after adjusting for liver fat and body mass index."

"The presence of pancreatic fat is not related to prediabetes or diabetes, which suggests that it has little clinical relevance for an individual's glycemic status."

"After adjusting for age, gender and BMI the association was attenuated."

So what does this workshop entail? We're going to be posting some videos to give you an idea of what we'll cover, starting with the practice of Kriya.
Uddiyana Bandha Kriya Practice, or stomach lift, stimulates the function of the pancreas and the liver. It strengthens the lower abdominal organs, and adrenal glands are balanced , removing lethargy and soothing anxiety and tension. This must be practiced on an empty stomach and the bowels should be empty.
