Yarntown เกมอินดี้ได้แรงบันดาลใจจาก Bloodborne และภาพน่ารักสไตล์ Zelda ปล่อยให้เล่นฟรีใน PC

Max Mraz นักพัฒนาเกมอินดี้อิสระ ได้สร้างเกม Yarntown เกมแนว Souls-Like ขนาดเล็กที่รับแรงบันดาลใจจาก Bloodborne โดย FromSoftware และมีภาพกราฟิก Pixel Art คล้ายเกม The Legends of Zelda ภาคเก่า

Mraz กล่าวว่า Yarntown พัฒนาโดย Solarus engine ซึ่งเป็นเอนจินเกมแบบ Open-Source รวมถึงเกมเมอร์คาดหวังได้เลยว่าจะต้องเผชิญหน้ากับความท้าทายแบบไม่เกรงใจผู้เล่นหน้าใหม่ รวมถึงจะต้อง "ตาย" หลายรอบจนรู้สึกหัวร้อนอยากเขวี้ยงคีย์บอร์ดทิ้ง

หากอ้างอิงจาก Shaun Prescott นักเขียนจาก PC Gamer กล่าวว่าฉากสถานที่ ระบบเกมเพลย์ เช่นอาวุธปืน, การหลบกลิ้ง และการออกแบบบอสมีลักษณะเหมือน Bloodborne แต่เปลี่ยนมุมกล้องแบบ Third-Person กลายเป็น Bird Eye View พร้อมมีภาพกราฟิกที่น่ารัก ซึ่งขัดความยากท้าทายของตัวเกมซะเหลือเกิน
