Here we want to share some of the basics of planting vegetables from seeds. This article is targeted to those who want to start planting at home but it may also be beneficial for those who have long gardening. Many more are actually things that can be included in this article but the information below is the main thing to be known to ensure seeds are planted and well growing.
1. Quality of seeds is important.
Not all seeds can grow and the addition rate depends on the quality of the seed. Generally more quality seeds contain or have a larger size. To make sure you get quality seeds get from a trusted manufacturer. Seeds treated with antimicrob and antifungus are also better.
2. The time taken for additions is different
Each plant grows at a different rate. Okra is among the plants that are easy and grow fast. Chili grows slowly and grows than okra. There are also seeds that will take long or hard to grow. To help extension, soak the seeds in the water for the night before being infused.
3. Ways of plants are different according to plants.
Plants like spinach and kangkung are easy to be planted, seeds can directly be covered on the plant media but keep the distance between seeds is not too close. For vegetable plants that grow like salad and cabbage need a larger room between plants. Plants like this and other plants such as chili and tomatoes should be sowed in the tray of a seasian and then diverted to the plant media like in a pot or on the ground. The distance between plants and vase size needs to fit the type of plants. For seeds that have low splash rates, sow over the media and then move the seeds that have grown into the tray of the semaian tray.
4. Use medium semaian and medium of suitable plants
Medium that is suitable for a piece of seed is smooth, holding humidity well, has a good ventilation, and hype (loggar). A good medium is also free from any pest, disease (sterile), and weed seeds. An example of a medium that is suitable for a seed of seeds is peat mos. Soil is not suitable to be used for a piece of seed because it's not sterile, too heavy, and doesn't have good irrigation A good medium plant is like a mixed soil that is rich with organic ingredients, has good ventilation and irrigation, optimum pH level and sufficient and balanced nutrients.
5. Make sure the medium is always moist during the extension process
The addition begins when seeds absorb water and roots will start to grow to get nutrients and water. At the extension stage, it's important to ensure the right condition for seed growth as its growth is easily affected when lack of water or too hot. The water should be enough during the period of addition without adding to it. One way to keep the humidity is to put a tray into plastic until the seeds grow.
6. Light is important after addiction
To ensure the right condition for the extension of seeds, seeds are usually sowed in dim and not hot conditions. But after the seeds have grown, the seeds need to be exposed to the sun. Lack of light after addiction will cause seeds to grow long and thin. Morning sunlight is enough to make sure seeds grow well.
7. Plants need to be maintained
Care is also important after the seed has grown and there are 4 things to be prioritized that are, light, water, nutrients and pest control. Plants need sufficient light at least 4-5 hours of sunlight but it also depends on the type of plant, some don't need much light and some need lots of light. Water also needs to be confirmed enough for plants, the frequency of siraman is depending on the weather condition. Pembajaan needs to be done to ensure plants grow fresh and produce satisfactory results, rejuvenation is usually done every 2 weeks.
Pest control is also important and it's not just to be done when there's an attack but controls also need to be made to avoid pest attacks. An example of pest control is using a spray of pest control and biologically control which is one of them by planting plants that can attract predators to plant pests.

plants grow in water only 在 A Happy Mum Facebook 的精選貼文
I do not have green fingers but when we moved into A Happy Home, I decided to find a spot in our balcony for a mini indoor garden that will make us feel closer to nature. We bought a wooden shelf that fitted nicely into the small space we had and over time, we filled it up with small pots of plants, a mini greenhouse and a handful of terrariums.
The kids have shown a keen interest in keeping this garden going which is evident by how they would diligently remember to water the plants, clear away the weeds and clean up the fallen leaves. Having a landscape of plants, no matter how little, is a good way to improve patience, calm nerves and bring smiles. That said, out of everything we've tried to grow, my personal favourite goes to DIY terrariums! Not only are they extremely easy to maintain since they are self-sustaining ecosystems, they are also very fun to create and make a great opportunity for the family to bond.
In this Creativity 521 post, I will be sharing about our latest DIY terrarium from Masons Home Decor that kept us busy and happy for an afternoon as the kids and I built it up from scratch. Check out their big smiles at the end, I think they kind of sum up everything, don't they?
plants grow in water only 在 Milton Goh Blog and Sermon Notes Facebook 的最讚貼文
Yesterday, during the Fortitude Budget speech, our Singapore Deputy Prime Minister talked about the increasing demand for IT, technology and engineering related workers. The digital space is growing, and through this COVID-19 pandemic, more businesses are seeing the need to transition to digitization and having an online presence instead of just a physical storefront.
When you start a blog or website, it’s the beginning of building an online presence. It opens up new opportunities for you and suddenly you’re able to reach a wider audience and customer base than ever before.
“But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run back and forth, and knowledge shall be increased.”” (Daniel 12:4 WEB)
The end times is marked by an exponential increase in knowledge. The last time I heard, the world’s experts call this time the “Information Age”.
There are many benefits in starting a website or blog, because there are so many searching for knowledge online. People are even willing to pay for knowledge.
As a Christian writer and blogger, I use my time to study the Bible, and share the revelations I receive during my study time in my blog, social media and books. I spent years experimenting with my own website and social media platforms.
Since people are looking for knowledge, let it be the truth of God’s word that they find. If there’s demand, there’s an opportunity. Just provide the supply. It’s perfectly okay to be paid well for the time you spend in creating quality content that improves people’s lives!
Monetizing your website or blog isn’t like a job. In your salaried job, even if you slack off and your boss doesn’t notice, you still get paid by the hour.
In blogging and selling your own products online, you are paid based on the results you get—not based on per hour, but per sale or per click (for ads).
This means that you have the opportunity to grow your income without a boss to set your limits.
Ask the Lord to give you creative, wise ideas and place you in the right place at the right time to generate massive results. Only He can give you the grace for that.
You can learn all you want from so-called ‘experts’ online, but if you don’t receive favor from God, you can’t succeed.
“I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. Now he who plants and he who waters are the same, but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor.” (1 Corinthians 3:6-8 WEB)
You can plant and water all you want by your own efforts, but without God giving the increase, your website or blog won’t grow. It’s so important to receive and rely on His favor!
Perhaps you even lost your job or took a pay cut. Why not explore a new way of doing things and learn new skills?
Being able to build, manage and market a website are valuable skills that add value to companies who are looking to hire talents.
If you’re going to start a website or a blog, do it for God’s glory, to exalt the name of Jesus. You’ll be rewarded for your labor of faith, hope and love.
I have a local friend who builds professional websites for a living, and he charges even up to $50,000 for a website.
My rate is much, much lower than that. I’ve built websites for clients before, but my portfolio isn’t an extensive as his. My passion is still in writing about God’s word, so building websites is something I can do, but only for a few people.
If you want to hire me to build a website/blog for you, you can do so here: https://www.miltongoh.net/store/p14/website-creation-service-based-in-singapore.html
If you hire me, I will include US$800 worth of free inclusions like suggesting a name (URL) for your domain that boosts your website’s visibility on Google, my eBook guide “How to Use your Weebly Website” to help you confidently use your new website yourself, setting up your email newsletter account and Google Analytics (for tracking website data and growth), as well as suggestions and placement of stock photos for your website.
Here’s to witnessing the next wave of Christian bloggers and digital entrepreneurs succeed in the mission of making the Gospel of Jesus Christ known! 🙌
