"PoundLand, one pound shop " 2015/10/10
Poundland is a shop where sell every product for one pound. Not only poundland, there are also the other similar shop in UK like poundworld. It's a little like DAISO, Japan, it sell daily products, foods, drinks, even battery.
However, it does not means that you can buy everything in the lowest price here, maybe something could find lower than 1 pound in the other place. So you may need to compare the price in different shops.It seems no any shop could promise their price is lowest. Even Tesco will have something more expensive than other market.
Durham has wide-ranged shop for daily life, you could buy most of the things you need here unless you want some luxuries.
一磅店，顧名思義所有東西都賣一磅，類似大創的商店，英國有許多類似的店（poundland是連鎖的），但賣的比大創還要多東西，像是鮮奶、家樂氏玉米片、亨氏番茄醬、泡麵、肉品、飲料、零食、廠牌洗髮精、沐浴乳、、乳液、洗碗精、衛生用品、廚具、保鮮盒、甚至電池等等，幾乎可以買到日常生活所需的所有用品。所以其實不用帶太多生活用品過來，也不用擔心物價太高，一般日常用品Durham都買的到，也不會太貴。
甚至在一磅店買的到東西還不是最便宜的，有些日常用品、食品，甚至不用一磅就可以在其他商店買到，像是食品類、調味料或者盥洗用品等等。在英國，比較沒有哪一間商店確定一定比較便宜，就算是連鎖超商，Tesco也是有些東西賣的比別的商店貴，所以就要靠消費者自己比較。
其他用品，像是美髮類、化妝品、假睫毛等等，也都可以在Durham的各種商店中買到，價格大多也跟台灣差不多，只是幾乎都是歐美品牌，若愛用亞洲品牌的人，可能還是要自己攜帶。衣服、鞋子、登山外套、雪靴，在Durham的運動用品店也都買的到，價格不一定，但跟在台灣買也差不多，只是款式比較舊。至於運動品牌鞋真得稍微貴了一點，但是在newcastle就可以找到比台灣便宜的了！雖然在英國的商點，定價都比較貴，但是打折後，都會相當的便宜，因此要挑對時機購買。
