The Revelation of the Secret Place

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” (Psalms‬ ‭91:1‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

The secret place of the Most High is a person.

It is being “in Christ”.

Jesus is the strong tower that the righteous run to.

This tower stretches high into Heaven.

We believers are the living stones that make up this tower.

Piece by piece, the tower is built up into a holy temple for God.

Under the Law, the temple is where the gold, silver, and tithes are stored.

The holiest items in Israel were stored in the temple.

Today we have the true substance of what was just symbolic in the Law.

God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in Heaven in Christ Jesus.

Every good thing, including God’s most precious treasures and gifts, are found in Christ.

You are in the best position you can possibly be in.

Be seated on Jesus’ throne and reign with the same power and authority as Him.

As a member of His body, your identity is inseparable from Him.

If anyone touches the hand of Christ, he has touched Christ.

Christ is in you through His Spirit.

You in Him, and Him in you, and Jesus is in the Father.

God and you have become one.

No wonder the Father says, “Son, you are always with me, and all that is mine is yours.”

Every promise in Psalm 91 hinges on you being in the secret place of the Most High.

If Jesus is your Lord, you are already there!

God has given us many powerful spiritual weapons in Christ that destroy Satanic strongholds, yokes, and bondages. The devil will always try to convince you that you are separated from God, that God is angry and out to punish you. He knows that if you operate from a place of oneness with God, no attack of his can prosper against you.

Remove the Roof

“When he entered again into Capernaum after some days, it was heard that he was in the house. Immediately many were gathered together, so that there was no more room, not even around the door; and he spoke the word to them. Four people came, carrying a paralytic to him. When they could not come near to him for the crowd, they removed the roof where he was. When they had broken it up, they let down the mat that the paralytic was lying on. Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.” But there were some of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts, “Why does this man speak blasphemies like that? Who can forgive sins but God alone?” Immediately Jesus, perceiving in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, said to them, “Why do you reason these things in your hearts? Which is easier, to tell the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven;’ or to say, ‘Arise, and take up your bed, and walk?’ But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—he said to the paralytic— “I tell you, arise, take up your mat, and go to your house.” He arose, and immediately took up the mat, and went out in front of them all; so that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!”” (Mark‬ ‭2:1-12‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

The Lord brought this miracle to my remembrance and wants to tell us to remove the roof in our minds.

Oftentimes when we are faced with challenges, we only see the impossibilities and limitations.

The paralytic’s four friends saw that the house was so crowded and that there was no way to enter through the front door. Instead of seeing this as an impossible situation, they thought out of the box and removed the roof.

Some of us need to remove the roof from some wrong doctrines that we have been taught in the past that are limiting our ability to receive from God now.

When the four friends lowered the paralytic down into the house, Jesus did not rebuke them or curse the paralytic for removing the roof. Instead, He saw their faith and healed the paralytic.

The religious scribes might have viewed removing the roof as an audacious and preposterous act, but Jesus only saw it as faith.

When you approach God today in prayer, don’t have this sense of fear, as if He will punish you if you say something wrong.

Just believe that He is like Jesus, seeing your faith as you ask Him for big things—even ‘impossible’ things. He loves it when you have faith to receive miraculous breakthroughs from Him!

“Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be the glory in the assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.” (‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:20-21‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Remove the roof in your mind that limits God or makes Him appear stingy and reluctant to help you.

God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, which means that no matter how big your prayer requests (demands) are, His supply will be much more than you expect.

If He is going to keep exceeding your expectations, then set your sights high. He loves it when you have a good opinion of Him—and that is faith!

「Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them: “Rulers and elders of the people! If we are being called to account today for an act of kindness shown to a man who was lame and are being asked how he was healed, then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. Jesus is “ ‘the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.’ Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus. But since they could see the man who had been healed standing there with them, there was nothing they could say. So they ordered them to withdraw from the Sanhedrin and then conferred together. “What are we going to do with these men?” they asked. “Everyone living in Jerusalem knows they have performed a notable sign, and we cannot deny it. But to stop this thing from spreading any further among the people, we must warn them to speak no longer to anyone in this name.” Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John replied, “Which is right in God’s eyes: to listen to you, or to him? You be the judges! As for us, we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.” After further threats they let them go. They could not decide how to punish them, because all the people were praising God for what had happened. For the man who was miraculously healed was over forty years old.」

First of all, I have never intended to play with racial ideology. All my films, music and art throughout my career have never been once strayed from emphasizing the importance of racial harmony. I have been suppressed by our government for so many years, still you would rather judge me by my cover and punish me through the facade of things. To be honest, I felt unappreciated, sad and disappointed. I really do hope that Malaysia can be better than this.

916, Malaysia day is coming soon and I won’t be defeated that easily. I wish all Malaysians to be always positive and say ‘no’ to all discriminatory racial policies. Malaysia Boleh!
