September postcards sent out today!

I was walking in Dublin and saw this cute little shop, they did their own postcards. I got all 4 versions they had, so this time you are going to receive different things.

And, when I was buying stamps in the post office, ALL of the stamp packages for international letter mailing were bought by me, and still 10 missing. So, apart from the different designs of the postcards, there will be 10 lucky patreons who will get to see that 10 stamps, ALL DIFFERENT, generated right out from the machine.

There’s a specific one got my attention. It is a ticket to THE Titanic (they made it into a stamp!). I put it on randomly at the end after signing all individual cards.

So, anyone who gets it please post it on IG, I will send you something special next month.

Alhamdulillah…it’s only been a week since we received the keys to our new house #TheOldForgeCottage 🏡 but our renovation journey has made a lot of progress so far! Spanish Needles Bidens alba is a very common weed with goof medical functions. Our ancients used it in herbal tea and some skin treatment, like small wood, itching, bug bites. I gathered the plants last weekend and made soaps with them. My college designed this stamp for it, I really like the Chinese characters in the design.

Recently, "how to prepare the lye solution of herbal soaps" was discussed in our Facebook group. Some people like to use regular herbal juice and some people like to use frozen herbal juice, so I tried both methods with the same recipe at the same time and the results are very similar (almost the same). I don't like the irritating air while dissolving lye in the regular juice, so I'd rather spend more time to freeze the juice and dissolve lye in the frozen one.
