ไวรัสตัวนี้ หายดีแล้ว มีโอกาสเป็นซ้ำ ร่วมกับถ้ามีประวัติภูมิแพ้ในครอบครัว พ่อหรือแม่ อนาคต เด็กอาจจะเป็นโรคหอบหืดตามมาได้
การป้องกัน ที่พอจะช่วยได้
1)หลีกเลี่ยงไปชุมชนคนเยอะหรือ เลี่ยงการอยู่ใกล้ผู้ใหญ่ และเด็กที่ป่วย
ถ้าป่วยต้องอยู่บ้าน หยุดเรียน พบแพทย์
2)วัคซีนโรคอื่นๆที่ป้องกันพบร่วมได้ เช่น ไข้หวัดใหญ่ วัคซีนไอพีดี เป็นทางเลือกสามารถฉีดได้
3)รักษาความอบอุ่นของร่างกาย ช่วงนี้อาการเย็น หนาว ไวรัสชอบ
4)คนมีโรคประจำตัวเช่น หอบหืด โรคหัวใจ โอกาสติด RSV แล้วอาการรุนแรงกว่าเด็กทั่วไป ต้องระวัง อย่าขาดยาประจำ ป่วยรีบมาพบแพทย์
5)ล้างมือ สวมหน้ากาก รักษาระยะห่าง ป้องกัน RSV ไข้หวัดใหญ่ ปอดอักเสบได้ มาตรการเดียวกับป้องกันโรคโควิด-19
