Do u have back pain, hip pain, discomfort during weight lifting session, realised one hip is sitting higher than the other while standing OR experience hip shift during squats?
If u experience any of these, than u might have Muscular imbalances you’ve developed from lifting or doing any repetitive tasks.
Let me share a secret… I DO HAVE THEM and it bothers me.
So given that this is “the perfect time” for me to address all my muscular imbalances issues, I googled & YouTube some stuff and found a very insightful clips and infos that might be beneficial for YOU too!
I incorporated the 2 hip mobility exercises in my routine for 3 days and I CAN SEE tremendous improvements and my hips & back no longer achy!
Also, due to these imbalances & tightness around my hips and hamstrings, I also experience glute amnesia where I hardly feel my left glute working when I perform certain exercises.
So I incorporated a Glute activation exercise - Lateral Steps Up.
An outstanding exercise to stimulate the glutes but mild exercise so it is easy to the body”.
It challenges the gluteal in hip extension & also in abduction or frontal plane strength (glute medius).

Resistance bands offer a low impact solution to exercising and strengthening your shoulders.
Shoulders are the MOST movable joints in the human body, which makes them prone to possible injuries.
Keep the sharing shirt to you
The main three bones: the SCAPULA the CLAVICLE and the HUMERUS comprise the shoulder joint.
Muscles, tendons and ligaments keep your shoulders in a normal (stable) position.
You can perform these shoulder rehab exercises with bands as an addition to your normal training routine or as part of a workout, or a stand-alone dynamic stretching routine before you workout / warm up exercises.
By strengthening the muscles surrounding your shoulder joints you can prehab, rehab and prevent the chances of future injuries.
However, please consult your specialist doctor (NOT the normal doctor!) or physio therapist if you're experiencing the following symptoms.
1.extreme pain and deep aching
signs of swelling
2.difficulty raising your arms over your head
3.difficulty sleeping on your arm after injuring your shoulder

13 days out to my 2nd Bikini Comp
My road to getting top 5!
This has been a long prep in my opinion. Went on prep round August then fell out cause of being sick.. then went back on again. But I have learnt a lot in the process. I took on the second comp, cause i wanted to see what else I could experience and the life lessons that came with..are PRICELESS.
I set out to beat myself last year and I'm now out to beat myself in May. I'm not at the end yet... But i'm very excited for next week.. cause seeing yourself transform is like opening a Christmas present. LOL. How is my physique doing at this point. Watch on. :)
Other than proper training and nutrition, athletes and fitness enthusiast, you need to also consider sports rehabilitation or how i'd like to call it "athlete's maintenance". We tear up our bodies a lot while training being at the gym or for competitive sports, whichever. Here are some of the ways I've been preventing any injuries, fixing injuries, and just overall maintenance, which can enhance my training.
1. Seeing a Chiropractor
2. Getting Dry Needling / Deep Tissue Massage
3. Cryotherapy
