It’s 4AM and before I start my weekend with another flurry of work and events, I wanted to post this up over my business page - the page that is open to friends , family as well as strangers alike - to read about not just my business or work related self … but snippets of my private life which I usually keep in a close journal as therapy for me when I need to pen down my musings.
This early morning post is about this decade old drum set.
This electronic drums was something I sought permission to buy from Azmi. I took drum lessons before marrying him, but never had the space to own a set.
But when we moved in together at our home we decided to buy 11 years ago, I coaxed him to agree to it and whilst he hesitated at first - he gave in and took charge looking for one that I could beat the sh*t out of, without causing lawsuits from neighbours (hence the decision to go electronic)
I could use it while I spun music from my DJ decks and it was snug enough to fit into the room which was meant for storage - not knowing God would bless us with more children and a pandemic that would lead us to pivot into creating a livestream studio to sustain our business.
He had told me to sell it off second hand - and I kept coming up with excuses that perhaps the boys would use it someday … or that it was too old and outdated “no one would buy it so best we just keep it”
Truth is?
Letting it go was like letting go of a dream in completing my music lessons which I had put a cork in the bottle upon finding out I was pregnant with Iman.
As time passed on, blessed with more children and different situations that made us have to change business strategies along the way, my music hobby was getting pushed lower down the priority list as more and more items on my “to do list” grew and climbed on top.
My children says I’m not fun anymore “you’re always working mama” and last night, as I went to put Ilon to sleep promising to sit with the older kids for our weekly Friday Family movie nights (a ritual we have started to keep the children’s sanity in check during this gloomy pandemic) , I am devastated as I ended up falling asleep halfway while working and breastfeeding Ilon.
They say you must find balance in life. Work, love and play.
I don’t know how to do that anymore.
How many of you feel that this pandemic has just made you become a work zombie?
Anyone up at this hour?
Shall take a cold shower now. I’ve got a show to run in 6 hours and I’ve not done a flow yet.

Kisah saya dan Kabinet.
Okey ini ada Gambar Kabinet lama dan Kabinet baru di rumah saya.
Kabinet lama tu rumah teres, lepas tu pindah rumah baru, banglo mini.
Bagaimana boleh pindah rumah baru?
Alkisahnya, awal kerja gaji pertama beli rak buku.
Kemudian tiap bulan beli satu buku, cukup setahun ada 12 buku, sungguh tak sama orang bujang yang baca buku 12 bijik setahun dengan orang bujang yang kali terakhir baca buku waktu ambik SPM.
Lepas tu saya beli Komputer, dan belajar internet, dan belajar tulis blog.
Ketika kawan-kawan beli kereta Satria baru, atau Honda, atau Wira baru, saya beli kereta Cherede second hand, orang lain bayar muka kereta baru RM5000, saya bayar Cash RM2500 terus dapat kereta tanpa komitmen bulanan.
Sayang betul, rupanya tak ada satu pun saya ambik gambar dengan kereta ni, zaman tu telefon belum ada kamere. Facebook pun belum ada untuk berlagak. Adohai.
Kereta Second hand ini walaupun buruk, kebaikkan nya adalah tak payah bayar bulan-bulan, dan kereta inilah saya guna untuk pikat hati mertua saya dan bini lantas membuktikan mereka tak metrialistik-woha!.
Air Cond tak ada, tempat pijak kaki ada lubang sikit, waktu hujan kena pakai selipar sebab air boleh masuk ikut bawah.
Bila takde ansuran kereta, maka pinjaman rumah mudah lulus, saya beli rumah teres sahaja.
Waktu mengorat Puan Bini, saya tak cakappun ada rumah sendiri, saya tunjuk kereta buruk sahaja, dan sabar betul bini saya kahwin dengan laki yang pakai kereta macam ni, waktu hujan, cermin berwap, bini saya jadi wiper organic dengan lap cermin dengan tuala basah. Pernah rosak tengah jalan, ketuk ketuk sikit, dah ok dan teruskan perjalanan.
Masa tu saya duduk rumah sewa kecik gila, tapi bulanan rumah itu di bayar oleh penyewa rumah saya, nampak tak permainan kapastalis saya?, malahan saya ada simpanan hasil sewa, bermakna rumah saya tu dah jadi asset walaupun hutang tak habis bayar lagi.
Ni semua berkat kawan dengan buku, pastikan lima jenis buku kita baca, (1) Agama, (2) Keluarga, (3) Kesihatan (4) Perniagaan (5) Masa lapang.
Apa tajuk buku best untuk baca?

Bila bini mengandung anak sulong, kesian kat dia kena air hujan kat kaki, baru saya beli kereta proton wira yang ada aircond, dan bila bilangan anak melebihi kerusi wira, saya beli MPV ala ala keretamayat, cukuplah kami tujuh beranak.
Oh, lupa, kereta charade saya jual waktu beli kereta wira dan jual dekat ejen MLM Suraco, pernah Nampak kereta ni melintas dengan sticker Sureco tahun 2005 dulu, tak tahu apa cerita kereta tu sekarang.
Jadi begitulah kisah kereta pertama saya sekaligus rumah pertama saya. Kemudian saya beli pulak kereta kancil second hand lampu petak agar senang urusan kerja, tak malu langsung saya pakai kancil tu, asal bulanan murah, dan saya tak sakit kepala. Bila kereta tu dah uzur, saya jual dan beli axia kompang, kereta paling murah di Malaysia.
Jadi, Bila hutang kereta kita kecik, maka layaklah beli beli tanah, boleh buat mini banglo, kawan saya beli rumah teres sama harga dengan saya beli tanah buat banglo mini, Cuma lecehlah nak beli tanah pecah lot, nak sewa lori tinggikan tanah, nak masukkan air, pinjam jiran dulu, tiang letrik takde nak kena urus dulu, lepas tu nak cari kontraktor lagi, tapi benda susah ni berbaloi, dan di kira best kita buat, sebab tak pernah buat, pengalaman apa apapun, bila first time rasa seronok.
Dah siap rumah saya buat track jogging, niat untuk terapi anak syurga, sudahnya waktu PKP, saya yang terapikan diri berlari keliling rumah hilangkan stress.
Jadi rumah pertama saya sekarang masih buat rumah sewa, dan pernah buat homestay, tapi rugi teruk, berniaga, ada untung dan rugi, maka bagi sewa sahajalah, tak untung besar tapi jadi aset dalam diam.
Ni Nak cerita pasal kebinet tapi melalut sampai ke kereta dan rumah, adohai… saya belum kaya, perjalanan masih jauh, hutang masih banyak, pelan pelan kayu, insyaAllah..
Moral of the strory, beli kereta baru separuh gaji nak kena bayar, memang masuk neraka wang, jika nak belajar uruskan wang, kena banyak membaca..
Oh yer, tadi saya janji nak bagi tajuk Buku asas wajib baca untuk ubah kehidupan.
Kita semua tahu, dari olahan hadis, ada lima perkara paling asas dan berharga dalam menentukan kebahagiaan hidup? Iaitu:
(1) Agama, (2) Keluarga (3)Kesihatan (4) Sumber Rezeki (5) Masa lapang.
Tanpa agama kita akan masuk neraka, tanpa keluarga kita akan kesepian, tanpa sumber rezeki kita akan meminta minta, dan tanpa masa lapang kita akan stress gila!
Jadi nak ubah cabinet rumah, mulakan dengan ubah maklumat dalam otak dengan membaca lima jenis buku (1) Agama, (2) Keluarga, (3) Kesihatan (4) Perniagaan (5) Masa lapang.
Untuk buku Agama bacalah (1)Taklim, setengah jam sehari, Buku keluarga, saya cadang baca (2) How To Friend and Influence People karangan Dale Carnegie, guna ilmu tu untuk tambah kasih sayang dalam keluarga, Buku kesihatan, pergi klinik, banyak (3) template dan nasihat free, buku bisnes, (4) Rich Dad Poor Dad, atau 4-Hour Workweek. Atau versi melayu baca buku BIjak Merancang wang tulisan Afyan Mat Rawi,
Dan Buku untuk masa lapang, bebas! Tak kisah nak baca novel ke, komik ke, teka teki ke, asalkan membaca, dan Saya cadangkan baca semua buku Hamka keretamayat serta rasailah perbezaannya.

電子レンジでご飯が炊けるのは知っていたんですが機会がなかったところ、次男が就職して一人暮らしを始めたので教えがてらやってみました。耐熱温度140℃のジップロックコンテナーでやってみました。結果は上々、夏休みのお昼ご飯や弁当用にも使えそうです。

*レシピ*
１．ジップロックコンテナー(容量1100ml)をスケールにのせ、目盛りを0にする。
２．お米180gを入れる。（1合は150gですね。間違えました。）
３．スケールはそのままで米を研ぎ水を切る。
４．再び、スケールにのせ450gになるように水を注ぐ。(ちなみにジップロックコンテナーの蓋を除いた重さは40gです。水は洗米時に吸水した分を含め270g入れたことになります)
５．1時間浸水させる。
６．蓋をずらして、600wの電子レンジで4分20秒加熱する。（800wの場合 3分15秒、500wの場合 5分20秒）
７．取り出してかき混ぜる。（「赤子泣いても蓋取るな」はこの際忘れるのだ。）
８．蓋をずらし、今度は300wの電子レンジで7分50秒加熱する。（200wの場合 11分40秒、150wの場合 15分35秒）
９．蓋をし、7分蒸す。
１０．でけた。
かき混ぜたら出来上がり。おいしいじゃん！いけるぞ次男！
I knew that I could cook rice in the microwave, but when I didn't have the opportunity, my second son got a job and started living alone, so I tried to teach him. I used a Ziploc container with a heat resistance of 140℃. The result is excellent, and it seems that it can be used for lunches and bento boxes during summer vacation. *recipe*
1.Place a zip lock container (capacity 1100 ml) on the scale and set to 0.
2.Add 1 cup (180g) of rice.
3.Leave the scale as it is, wash the rice drain it.
4.Put it on the scale again and pour water so that it weighs 450g. (By the way, the weight of the zip lock container excluding the lid is 40g. It means that 270g of water was added including the amount of water absorbed during rice washing.)
5.Let the rice soak for 1 hour.
6.Slide the lid and heat in a 600w microwave for 4 minutes and 20 seconds. (3 minutes 15 seconds for 800w, 5 minutes 20 seconds for 500w)
7.Take out and stir.
8.Move the lid and heat it in a 300w microwave oven for 7 minutes and 50 seconds. (11 minutes 40 seconds for 200w, 15 minutes 35 seconds for 150w)
9.Cover and steam for 7 minutes.
10.Done
Stir, and it's ready to serve. It's delicious! You can do it, second son!

鯇魚腩件1斤
薑、葱適量
紹興酒1碗
豉油1小碗
老抽1小碗
醋1湯匙
冰糖1碗
五香粉1茶匙
鹽適量
做法：
1.鯇魚腩件洗乾淨擠乾水分
2.用薑、葱、紹興酒、鹽、五香粉醃半小時以上
3.煮一大碗滾水，加入冰糖、老抽、豉油、醋，煮成燻魚汁備用
4.煮滾油，鯇魚腩炸至香脆，取出稍為攤凍，再下鑊翻炸
5趁熱加入煮好的燻魚汁中，取出攤涼即可食用。夏天先放入雪櫃雪凍，風味更佳
Ingredients:
Grass carp belly 1 catty
Ginger Some
Scallion Some
Shaoxing wine 1 bowl
Soy sauce 1 small bowl
Dark soy sauce 1 small bowl
Vinegar 1 tbsp
Rock sugar 1 bowl
Five spice powder 1 tsp
Salt Some
Steps:
1. Clean fish belly and pat dry.
2. Marinate fish with ginger, scallion, Shaoxing wine, salt, and five spice powder for at least half an hour.
3. Boil a big bowl of water, add rock sugar, dark soy sauce, soy sauce and vinegar to make the smoked fish sauce and set aside.
4. Heat a pot of oil, deep fry fish belly until golden brown. Remove from oil and let it cool, then deep fry again for a second time.
Mix deep fried fish belly with the sauce. Let the fish cool and serve. In the summer, you can place the cooked fish into the fridge and served cold.

Mr. Ho , a second generation beekeeper :"I have spent my entire life chasing flowers", he declares. He often loads as many as 300 hives in the back of his truck and , . He travels from town to town in search of the best bee pastures. Sometimes this leads him into the remote areas deep in the countryside. His hard work however, has not been in vain and over the years, he has won countless awards and recognition.
Natural honey has a shelf life of about 2 years; however, if the water percentage is too high, it causes fermentation and premature souring. Therefore, he keeps the water content around 18.2%.
Natural honey looks slightly cloudy. After shaking, it foams up with tiny bubbles and maintains the air bubbles for more than half hour.
He is content with his establishment and feels his greatest reward is to see the honey he produces enjoyed by others.
