วันนี้เฮียมีสาระดี ๆ เกี่ยวกับเรื่องยางมาแชร์ให้ฟังกันอีกแล้วนะ เรียกได้ว่าเป็น Basic ในการทำความเข้าใจในการเลือกยางให้ได้ของดีตรงสเป็ครถของเราเลยก็ว่าได้ ด้วยการทำความเข้าใจ ‘Symbol’ หรือ ‘Tyre Marking’ ที่อยู่บนแก้มยาง ซึ่งโดยหลัก ๆ จะมีอยู่ 6-7 จุดด้วยกัน เดี๋ยวเฮียจะบอกให้ว่าแต่ละจุดมันคืออะไร? มีความหมายอะไรบ้าง? รับรองว่ารู้ไว้มีประโยชน์กับชีวิตแน่ ๆ ตามรูป Infographic ที่เฮียเอามาให้ดู เริ่มจาก
1.Brand Name - เป็นจุดที่บอกชื่อแบรนด์ หรือยี่ห้อของยาง อย่างรูปนี้เป็นยางที่เฮียใช้ประจำคือแบรนด์ ‘Continental’ (คอนติเนนทอล)
2.Model Name - ชื่อรุ่นของยาง อย่างยางเส้นนี้จะเป็นรุ่น ‘Sport Contact 6’
3.Section Width (mm.) - ขนาดความกว้างของหน้ายางที่ใช้หน่วยวัดเป็นมิลลิเมตร (มม.)
4.Aspect Ratio - ความสูงของแก้มยาง คิดเป็น% ของขนาดหน้ายาง ตัวเลขยิ่งน้อย แก้มยางก็ยิ่งบางลง
5.Type Construction - ลักษณะโครงสร้างของยาง อักษร ‘R’ ในรูปนี้แสดงถึงลักษณะโครงสร้างยางแบบเรเดียล (Radial)
6.Rim Diameter - เป็นตัวเลขที่บอกขนาดกระทะล้อ ยกตัวอย่างในรูปจะเขียนว่า ‘19’ หมายความว่าเราต้องใช้ยางนี้กับกระทะล้อที่มีขนาด 19 นิ้ว เท่านั้น
7.Load Rating - ความสามารถในการรับน้ำหนักของยางต่อเส้น อย่างในรูปจะเขียนว่า ‘XL’ หมายถึง (Extra Load) ซึ่งเป็นยางที่รับน้ำหนักได้มาก (รับน้ำหนักบรรทุกได้สูงกว่ายางมาตรฐาน)

นอกจากนี้ หากใครสังเกตข้อที่ 5 คือ Type Construction ดูที่ยางรถของเรา ส่วนใหญ่จะเป็นตัว ‘R’ ก็จริง แต่นอกจากตัว ‘R’ แล้วอีก เราก็มักจะเห็น ‘ZR’ อยู่บ่อย ๆ ด้วยเหมือนกัน เดี๋ยวเฮียจะอธิบายให้ฟังอันนี้ค่อนข้างสำคัญมาก โดยเฉพาะคนที่ขับรถเร็ว ๆ

อย่างที่รู้กันว่า ‘R’ หมายถึง ยางนี้เป็นยางแบบเรเดียล แต่ตัว ‘Z’ ข้างหน้าจะเป็นสัญลักษณ์ของ ‘Speed Symbol’ ที่บ่งบอกว่าเป็นยางรถยนต์ที่สามารถใช้ความเร็วสูงได้มากกว่า 240 กม./ชม. แต่ถ้าเป็น ‘R’ เฉย ๆ เนี่ย จริง ๆ แล้วมันรองรับความเร็วสูงสุดที่ 170 กม./ชม. เท่านั้น!!!

คนส่วนใหญ่ไม่ค่อยจะรู้เรื่องนี้เท่าไหร่ ทำให้เลือกใช้ยางไม่เหมาะสมกับรถและความเร็วในการขับขี่ ทำให้มีโอกาสเกิดอันตรายได้

เพราะฉะนั้น เฮียเชื่อว่า ถ้าทุกคนเข้าใจใน ‘Symbol’ หรือ ‘Tyre Marking’ ต่าง ๆ มากขึ้นเนี่ย จะช่วยให้ทุกคนขับขี่ได้ปลอดภัย และมั่นใจในการขับรถแน่นอน
