繼〈九頭身日奈〉後，9m88 與 DJ Mitsu the Beats 再度合作 2021 最新單曲〈Tell Me〉，風格相較以往更顯成熟深邃。以第一人稱口吻演唱，歌曲末段多聲部的應答（call and response）之間，盼能為所有受挫的心帶來安慰。
9m88 提到，〈Tell Me〉創作動機受到日本實境節目《雙層公寓》參演者木村花的悲劇啟發。22 歲的她因為節目播出內容後受到網路攻擊，在 2020 年 5 月結束了自己年輕的生命。透過這首溫柔、脆弱、勇敢的歌，她希望傳遞一項訊息給所有遭遇類似困境的人：「當黑暗來臨時，你可以告訴自己不要活在別人的眼光當中，不要輕易把真實的自己，交給別人定義。」
After “Nine Head Hinano”, 9m88 once again collaborates with DJ Mitsu the Beats on the 2021 single “Tell Me,” which is of a more mature and profound style. The song is sung in the first person tone, while the last part of it, with its multi-voice-part call and response, hopes to bring consolation to all frustrated hearts.
9m88 mentions that the creation of “Tell Me” was inspired by the tragedy of Hana Kimura, cast member of the Japanese reality television series Terrace house. The 22 year-old was cyber bullied because of the aired content of the show, and ended her own life. Through this gentle, vulnerable, brave song, 9m88 hopes to convey a message to all that endure similar hardships: ”When darkness comes, you can tell yourself not to live worrying about what others think of you. Do not give your true self up easily to be defined by others.”
