聯合再生攜手台大,鈣鈦礦太陽能電池研發獲突破
太陽能廠聯合再生能源今天宣布,與台灣大學在鈣鈦礦太陽能電池合作獲重大突破,轉換效率可達 26% 水準。
聯合再生能源指出,與台灣大學合作開發的是鈣鈦礦及矽晶疊層太陽能電池,結合鈣鈦礦與矽晶兩種材料互補的長處,轉換效率可達 26%,製程也可簡化。
除與台灣大學產學合作,開發鈣鈦礦太陽能電池,聯合再生能源還深耕 N-Topcon 與 N-HJT 異質結高效電池技術。
其中,N-HJT 異質結高效電池已穩定出貨中,最高轉換效率可達 24.5%。聯合再生能源表示,N-Topcon 預計 2021 年開始小量產出。(作者:張建中)

臺灣大學材料系林唯芳教授及明志科技大學材料系黃裕清助理教授所組成的研究團隊,最近發展出可在一般空氣環境下大量製作的高效率大面積鈣鈦礦太陽能電池,促使本技術的產業化大躍進。
鈣鈦礦太陽能電池是近幾年崛起的新世代高效率太陽能電池,其可以使用溶液製程,具有成品低廉,讓太陽能電池普及化的潛力。但目前高效率的電池卻是使用含有毒的溶劑的材料並以旋轉塗布的方式在密閉乾燥鈍氣的環境下以多步驟製作,成本高且無法量產。
本團隊採取環境友善的材料配合不同的環保溶劑製作出的配方,以傳統大面積狹縫式塗布法在一般大氣室溫的環境中將材料溶液塗布成濕膜,再配合快速紅外光一步驟乾燥長晶成均勻的薄膜(圖1a) 。
太陽能電池所需的四層薄膜,每層分次在彼此之間不會互相作用下,都可以少於1分鐘的時間,自動化製程一步驟快速完成,而一般的製程塗布、乾燥與長晶是分開,每層薄膜皆須分鐘至小時的時間才可以完成,較不易自動化。適當的選擇符合環保性、功能性且成膜性佳的材料及溶劑是形成高品質大面積薄膜的關鍵技術。
結果表明,以此新穎製程搭配鈣鈦礦前驅物溶液特殊配方,能在18秒內塗布12公分×12公分之均勻大面積鈣鈦礦薄膜(圖1b),此膜製成的太陽能電池,最高效率可達14.30%。
除此之外,他們也以此技術展示了全狹縫塗布法製備之鈣鈦礦太陽能電池(除上下方電極外之所有膜層),其最高效率約為11%(圖1c)。他們相信在這項研究工作中所開發之大面積量產材料及製程技術,不僅有助於鈣鈦礦太陽能電池朝商業化應用大步邁進,並為大面積量產材料及製程技術開拓了新的思維。相關結果發表在Advanced Energy Materials(DOI:10.1002/aenm.202001567)上。

Today, we unveiled the Singapore Green Plan 2030 (www.greenplan.gov.sg). It will build upon our sustainability efforts in decades past, and help us fulfil our commitments under the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda.
By 2030, Singapore will be greener, with more land set aside for nature parks. We will deploy more solar power, and tap more green energy. You will see more electric vehicles on the roads, and an expanded public transport network. We will recycle more. Schools will become carbon neutral, and students will learn how they can make a difference. We will help SMEs go green, and promote green R&D activities. We will do all we can to combat climate change.
We need to ensure a Singapore for our future generations. All of us have to work together, and make Singapore a bright green spark for the world. – LHL

The International Energy Agency’s annual report just came out, and it finally recognizes the growing trend of solar energy. Solar is now the cheapest source of energy in certain areas of the world! These are incredible developments in spite of the pandemic that disrupted so many renewable plans. N8 dives into the IEA report to look at the numbers, figure out how solar became so cheap, and share some other interesting findings.
