Sooo, today I am sharing a special recipe with you guys- Coconut Gula Melaka Smoothie with lots of great ingredients 😘

Since end of February when most of our events got cancelled because of pandemic, me and Edmund are extremely worry just like many of you, as our main income stream is from our event company.
Dealing with the fear of uncertainty and struggle to shoulder the various expenses of the company, we have been losing sleep since the lockdown. Nevertheless, we are striving hard to look for new opportunities to survive through this tough time. In spite of the looming uncertainties, there is a silver lining that shows us the rays of hope. While waiting for the world to fully adapt to the new normal and we slowly back to our business, we’ve decided to start up a dessert delivery shop - Sugirl Desserts that mainly selling Chinese tongsui🍡🍵🍧
Our love to Chinese desserts started way before we get married. We used to hang out in tongsui shop and look for desserts whenever we were travelling overseas. One thing that truly lifted our spirits during this tough time was making a bowl of warm sweet soup in the evening, and sharing it among our small family of four while staying at home during lockdown .
Looking at how my daughter indulged in the dessert with so much joy and fondness , it suddenly dawned upon us that no matter how tough life is, love and gratitude are always the eternal seeds of the garden of enduring happiness💕
Hence, we decided to start from scratch and work as a team again to create more traditional & nostalgic desserts with the modern twist . Our mission : to bring back the blissful comfort in slurping a belly-warming desserts😋
Holding to our core value which is bold in creating the modern spin & uncompromising in the quality delivered, we focus on creating healthy recipes with nourishing ingredients in the desserts to satisfy your sweet tooth without the guilt.

【糖妞的故事】
对于2020年本来抱着有很大期望的我
打从二月尾全部公司接到的企业活动或婚礼
都陆续被取消及延后
本来要扩展我们公司的计划也被逼搁置
就像许多担心焦虑的你们
除了被疫情爆发的焦虑笼罩下
还得应对公司及家里庞大的开销
我和我老公几乎每晚难以入眠
虽然情况的确非常不乐观
但我俩也拒绝做温水中的青蛙
与其等待疫情结束或疫苗现世
在不断地慎重商讨后
除了继续在我们的老本行与时并进的进修
我们也决定发展多年来一直很想投入的糖水业
那为什么是中式糖水呢?
其实在我们还未结婚前就常爱逛糖水店
就算到外旅行也总爱尝试不同的中式甜品
虽然常嚷着要开间暖心的糖水铺
但现有的生意都忙得透不过气来
所以这个念头一直都不了了之
在管制严令期间几乎每个晚上
我们都会熬上几碗温热的糖水
与我们两个年幼的小孩
一家四口围着分享
看着我女儿那稚气的脸
满足地喝完整碗糖水
让我们发现
一碗糖水带来的幸福感
竟然甚于平时虽辉煌却忙碌的日子
所以决定把我们平时最爱喝的广式糖水
以传统为始 推陈出新
研发一系列注重于养生美颜的健康微甜食
我们在饮食业这一块的经验尚浅
但是也促使我们放进无数的心机去研发

Multicultural chefs from Hyatt Regency Kinabalu are bringing back the childhood memories of favorite “#Sungkai” family recipes such as Daging Rendang, Lamb Masala and Chicken Cashew Nut. There are 2 set menus of buka puasa available for family comfortably at home...customized menu also can be selected from their ala carte menu including Oxtail Assam Pedas, Prawn Mayonnaise, BBQ Lamb Ribs etc. Highlight to their special Ramadan Bubur Durian dessert has been the favorite must have dessert for years.

滿杯紅柚 Grapefruits Special
Ingredients:
Drinkable Water (Room Temperature) --- 900 ml
Jade Oolong Tea ------------------------------------ 8 g
Grapefruits --------------------------------------------- 2 Pcs
Sugar ----------------------------------------------------- 2 Tbsp

Preparation:
1. Put the jade oolong tea leaf in tea bag. Put it into a bottle and add room temperature water into it.
2. Store the bottle in the fridge to infuse for 10 hours.
3. Prepare the grapefruits flesh from a single grapefruit.
4. Prepare 4 slices of grapefruit from another one. Squeeze out the juice from the rest of the grapefruit.
5. Add sugar to the grapefruit juice and mix well.
6. Put a piece of grapefruit slice into a glass. Add the grapefruit flesh, juice and oolong tea to finish.

【滿杯紅柚】
材料:-
室溫食用水..........900ml
翡翠烏龍茶葉.......8g
葡萄紅柚...............2個
糖...........................2湯匙
做法:-
1. 將翡翠烏龍茶葉放在玻璃瓶內,注入室溫食用水,然後放進冰箱冷藏浸泡約10小時。(可視乎自己喜愛的濃度加減茶葉的多少與浸泡時間)
2. 將一個紅柚起肉備用。
3. 另外一個紅柚切四片薄片備用;餘下的紅柚榨汁加入糖拌勻備用。
4. 杯中放紅柚薄片,加入紅柚肉、紅柚汁、冰塊、冷泡翡翠烏龍茶即成。
【Basque Burnt Cheesecake 】
材料:-
忌廉芝士................500g
鮮忌廉....................220g
糖...........................120g
雞蛋.......................3隻
低筋麵粉................12g
雲呢拿籽/香草精....少許
檸檬汁....................1/2個
做法:-
1. 忌廉芝士提前置於室温放軟,然後放入碗內,用電動打蛋器把忌廉芝士打至軟滑,逐少加入糖打至幼滑。
2. 雞蛋逐一加進碗內,分次發打均勻 。
3. 把低筋麵粉、鮮忌廉、香草籽、檸檬汁加入碗內拌勻成麵糊。
4. 將麵糊過篩,然後注入已鋪兩層牛油紙之蛋糕模內,把蛋糕模輕敲幾次,而排出多餘之氣孔。
5. 放入已預熱之烤箱,以220度烤30分鐘便可。

How to make Glazed Lemon Butter Cookies Recipe
Glazed Lemon shortbread cookies Recipe
☞ Serving: 10 cookies
✎ Ingredients
☞ For the cookie dough
unsalted cold butter 65g
all-purpose flour 100g
rice flour 25g
powdered sugar 25g
a pinch of salt
milk 15g
☞ For the glaze
lemon zest 1pc
lemon juice 8g
powder sugar 40g
✎ Instructions
1. Sift flour, powdered sugar, rice flour and a pinch of salt, then add all dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl.
2. Toss cold butter in the dry ingredients until each side is coated. Roughly cut the butter into small cubes and toss in the flour again, until each side is coated. Freeze for 1 hour.
3. put frozen butter and dry ingredients into a food processor, and pulse a few times until the mixture resembles coarse, sandy crumbs.
4. Add the mixture in a large bowl, pour 15g milk into it and mix well, then use your fingers to quickly rub the mixture until it resembles from flakes to a dough ball.
5. Transfer the dough to a baking paper, cover another paper on top, then roll out to 1cm thick. Freeze for 1 hour.
6. Take the dough out of the fridge and cut it into a 3x5cm rectangle.
7. Preheat the oven to 130°C, bake for 45-55 minutes. Remove and let cool on rack.
8. Zest a lemon in a small bowl, set aside. Squeezing out about 8g of juice from lemon.
9. Make the glaze and garnish. In a small bowl, whisk 8g of lemon juice and 40g of powdered sugar together. Dip the top side of the cookie into the glaze and place it on a wire rack, and garnish a little lemon zest on top to set.

Preheat oven to 180 degrees
Blend all ingredients until smooth.
