Daisy Ridley เปิดใจ! ว่าตั้งแต่จบ Star Wars เธอก็มีปัญหาด้านการทำงาน

เร็วๆ นี้ Daisy Ridley ได้พูดถึง The Rise of Skywalker โดยเธอบอกว่ามันเศร้ามากที่เรื่องราวต้องจบ และเมื่อหนังออกฉายฉันก็ชอบ มันเป็นบทที่ยิ่งใหญ่มาก แต่น่าแปลกที่ในช่วงสองสามเดือนที่ผ่านมานี้ฉันไม่มีงานอะไรมากมาย มันเป็นเรื่องที่ดีมากที่ได้ทำงาน แต่มันไม่มีอะไรเข้ามามากมายนัก เหมือนพอลองคิดว่าในช่วง 5 ปีที่ผ่านมา(ที่ได้แสดง Star Wars) การถูกบังคับให้ช้าลงมันเป็นเรื่องที่ดี(หมายถึงนานๆ ทีมีงานเข้ามา) สำหรับฉันเพราะ Star Wars เป็นเรื่องใหญ่ในชีวิตของฉัน น่าแปลกที่ต้นปีไม่มีอะไรเกิดขึ้นเลย และเธอเริ่มคิดว่า อ้าว! ไม่มีใครอยากจ้างงานฉันหรอก

แน่นอนว่าคงมีสตูดิโออื่นๆ ที่มองเห็น Daisy Ridley เป็นแค่เรย์เท่านั้น และคงคิดว่าเธอไม่เหมาะสมกับบทบาทอื่น ซึ่งอาจเริ่มคล้ายกับ Mark Hamill ที่ผู้คนติดภาพเขาว่าเป็นลุค สกายวอล์เกอร์มากเกินไป จนส่งผลเสียให้เขาไม่มีงานแสดงเข้ามามากมายนัก แต่ก็อยู่เบื้องหลังงานพากย์เสียงต่างๆ อีกทั้งในอนาคต Daisy Ridley เธอเองก็วางแผนว่าจะทำงานด้านการพากย์เช่นเดียวกันด้วย ที่ผ่านมาเธอเคยแสดงทั้ง Murder on the Orient Express และพากย์เสียงใน Peter Rabbit หรือเสียงใน Baba Yaga ประสบการณ์ Oculus VR และซีรีส์เสียง Audible อีก เรียกได้ว่าเดินรอยตามกันไปเลยครับ แต่ส่วนหนึ่งที่ทำให้ช่วงนี้ไม่ค่อยมีงาน ก็คงเพราะสถานการณ์ของไวรัสโควิดด้วยครับ ทำให้ตอนนี้หลายค่ายหลายคนไม่ค่อยมีทางเลือกในภาวะแบบนี้...
