This year has been filled with many long walks with the dogs. They never used to get destinational walks. Now I can barely go on a car trip without them. It has been my ultimate therapy. It is the only moment where I am in the present and all I focus on is each step I take. All I notice is pure joy in their furry little faces. There’s actually so much I want to emulate from my dogs. It doesn’t take much to make them happy and they only know how to love. I was always used to being in a hurry in the past. Time seemed precious so I liked efficiency and productivity. Now I know because time is precious, I choose to be in the moment. It’s said that being out in nature absorbs negative vibrations and awaken the soul. The warm sun rays feel like a gentle comfort hug. The mesmerising beauty around me reminds me how great the Lord is and no problem of mine is too big for Him to handle. Monster Taipei在2016年邀請台灣藝術家－阿咧 (A-Lei) 與日本藝術家中村萌 (Moe Nakamura) 於當年的台北國際玩具創作大展「展中展」聯合展出一場華麗的「土木進行曲」，當時的首度合作受到熱烈迴響，現今兩位藝術家在國際藝術舞台上持續大放異彩，時間回到今年，阿咧受椿畫廊邀請，即將與中村萌及其他七位日本藝術家共同於東京椿畫廊聯合展出，展覽資訊：SPES（拉丁文:希望之意）-9 Artists Group Exhibition- 19 June－ 10 July, 2021
這次 Monster Taipei 與友好單位 Yesart Gallery 意識畫廊繼阿咧首件搪膠作品大象多多後，再次攜手合作推出－”Agogo & Amigo”，並由香港 How2work 團隊製作操刀下，趣味感十足的 Agogo 和小夥伴 Amigo 搪膠作品就此誕生！
實體呈現的造型與細節近似還原了阿咧每件陶塑原作中極具療癒姿態的手感，作品包裝上特別開版手工製作，讓每對狗狗們配有獨棟景觀豪宅，包裝俏皮的粉色外牆皆有印刷阿咧童趣的插畫，絕對值得珍藏！雙犬去年 TTF 搶先曝光隨即引發高度詢問，現在正式超萌吸睛登場！

In 2016, Monster Taipei invited Taiwanese artist A-Lei and Japanese artist Moe Nakamura to co-exhibition during the Taipei Toy Festival. The two artists continue to shine on the international art scene.

After A-Lei’ s first Designer vinyl work "大象多多 DoDo", Monster Taipei and Yesart Gallery have co-work again recently, producing by Hong Kong How2work team, and the interesting vinyl work “Agogo and Amigo” was born!
The appearance and details approximately re-appears the touch of A-Lei's original pottery sculpture and the healing feeling.
The packaging work is specially hand-made, so that each pair of dogs come with a family landscape mansion. The playful pink walls are all printed with illustrations of A-Lei’s childishness, which are definitely worth collecting! The first TTF exposure of "Agogo & Amigo" last year immediately triggered high levels of asking, and now it is officially released!

在 Netflix上出現的小品電影，我通常根本懶得考慮，這次純為影集 Supergirl《超少女》那已經不太少女的主角 Melissa Benoist而打開看看，沒想到竟然挖到寶！此片是影集《童話小鎮》女主角 Jennifer Morrison轉戰導演的首作，片型有點像美國反恐片、有點像底層社會片、又有點像青年勵志電影、整個加起來還頗有一種都市奇譚的感覺... 反正我是來看 Benoist迷死人笑容的，她為誰感動為誰哭笑、我就順著她的眼光看下去，一定可以看到最美好的人事物！
電影設定在 911事件三年後的美國，2004年 9月11日前後，除了新聞媒體上各種紀念影片外、還充滿飛舞的星條旗與越戰老片等意象彷彿一部愛國電影。主角是超愛國的熱血青年 Ned，他一心想報效國家打擊恐怖份子拯救國民、每天努力鍛鍊身體只想加入海軍陸戰隊前進中東、怎知一次次被驗退回來仍不死心練得更壯、報名太多次連徵兵中心官兵們都認得他了。原來他自小腦子就有點問題，導致異常偏執不諳世故，每每讓徵兵中心長官們又是看笑話又是同情...
而這天，徵兵中心長官靈機一動、混合著玩笑與同情、拿出了一疊恐怖份子撲克牌煞有其事給了 Ned一個秘密任務成立特務編組「幻日小隊」，專門在國內社區搜尋恐怖份子阻止陰謀保護平民 XD 誰想到，Ned 認真接令做下去竟做得有聲有色出人意料、一次次紮實的跟監蒐證與推理令人肅然起敬、一次次詳實的攝影簡報更令長官嚴陣以待！美國的下一個恐攻就會栽在這平民英雄手上嗎？
此片一直保持一種不說破的奇幻色彩，彷彿一個「傻男也能救美國」的都市傳說，令觀眾先是跟著 Ned的熱血愛國瞠目結舌、再慢慢為 Ned的單純傻氣暗自哂笑、隨後看 Ned極端堅持慢慢開始肅然起敬、看 Ned的正直熱忱煞到美女令人心花怒放、看 Ned感召美女加入小隊出人出力令人熱血沸騰、看重重疑雲竟真被他倆步步解開則令人開始感到不可思議... 然而到最後，此片終究不是奇幻片、而是現實片，並沒真上演「傻男傻女破解恐攻救美國」的美國大夢。
雖說沒有夢想般的奇蹟，但夢想沒有引領我們到什麼應許之地嗎？此片片名「幻日」是指太陽在地平線邊緣時兩邊出現的兩個太陽虛像，被長官開玩笑比喻一句「有人如太陽在海外當反恐英雄、你在國內當側翼保護民眾一樣重要」其實只是哄騙 Ned打發他走 XD 誰知美國最神奇最善良也最單純的這顆 Ned心靈，就這樣絕無戲言當真做到底！每一件事他都做滿做好、每個資源他都研究利用、每個機緣他都把握結交、每一個人他都認真看待守護到底... 這令對人間心灰意冷的女主角 Tally為之心折，儘管世俗眼光戲謔者總稱之「認真魔人」、善心者則憐憫他「有點秀抖」。
當然我最愛的 Benoist在此片也很有發揮，而且這個角色從悲涼絕望中看見曙光的笑容比 Supergirl還更美也更餘韻盎然！她飾演的流浪女子 Tally，是個單親媽媽養大的苦悶心靈，從小就知道自己是底層是拖油瓶、甚至要跟著媽媽貼著一個又一個男人、很認命知道美國殘酷大地上的女人命運就這樣子。是呀，人人在這社會現狀下都有其宿命，有人生來就是賤命女子只能靠男人吃飯、有人生來就是智能不足只能一輩子領補償金不上不下過活... 然而這一切對心思單純的 Ned來說從來不是問題！也許就是這完全不食人間煙火的出世之心，才讓一生絕望的佳人看到曙光跟上去。
此片許許多多的小浪漫，發生在自以為特務的 Ned 與傻傻崇拜特務的 Tally 之間，每每令觀眾像 Ned爸媽一樣心花怒放、為這樣一個智能不足的純真男孩也能找到真愛而欣慰，甚至幾場近距離相處戲觀眾恐怕心裏都在喊「吻下去」了！但兩人之間的浪漫畢竟不是愛情或情慾的，而是關於道德勇氣的。每個再殘缺的人都有無限潛能，什麼書都沒讀過只會拿攝影機亂拍亂剪的 Tally也不例外，在 Ned眼中她就是又能開車跟監、又能攝影紀錄、甚至能精準剪片推理案情的好幫手。終極的浪漫，也許不只是有人願意關心我照顧我、而更是有人願意正視我重視我把我當個女超人？
Ned 像是下凡這苦悶美國大地的小精靈，他平常傻傻地看著新聞看著老片上 ebay 買書研讀，甚至帶女友（？）回家吃飯也是傻傻地一直狂吃不懂social，但他若無其事的每一句話乍看無腦其實都是箴言。這一家，人人都是日常庸碌人生潦倒的勞工階層，人人都有未竟夢想只是裹足不前，只是對 Ned來說就是這麼單純自然，介紹看似女友其實搭檔的 Tally就是「她是個攝影師」因為她都在攝影，介紹母親就是「她是個護士」因為她每天在做的就護理。母親一輩子想去紐約考專業證照當個隨車急救護士，育兒養家拖了十幾年告訴自己此生無望，Ned 只是簡單一句「就去呀」。
電影後段，即使兩小認真努力的反恐任務終究只是一場烏龍、更黯然發現「幻日小隊」只是玩笑話令 Tally如墜谷底黯然離去，但他們這兩道「幻日」終究不是沒有意義，每個平凡的美國人其實都能在小角落當個英雄，只看個人有沒有那單純的心不畫地自限勇敢踏出去。最終，Ned的媽媽與搭檔Tally兩位女主角各自踏出看似艱鉅其實簡單的一小步，人生各自的夢想並不那麼難圓，去做就是了。倒是片尾比較沈重的辯論，發生在 Ned與世故的繼父之間，這繼父也曾有具體的夢想，但一路汲汲營營著眼前小利如保險金補助金與藏寶圖，走了這麼一大圈繞不出來永遠落個空。
此片的魅力在於主角的宅氣與傻氣，不只是宅男 Ned還有傻妹 Tally，智能不足的男孩心思單純被長官開個玩笑當真也就罷了、世故創傷的女孩居然跟著當真一路掏心掏肺做下去簡直奇葩！不過，就在一些彼此談心談夢談創傷談理想的童言童語中，慢慢為純真之心找到真正的英雄道路：一部宅男最愛的《越戰獵鹿人》、一場宅女童年的母親陰影、一題兩人胡思亂想的簡單數學、一張夢中囈語般的大橋素描、一本不符社會不切實際的《麥田捕手》、以及一切小學生單字卡般的打字筆記... 這一切傻男傻女傻對話福至心靈串起來，竟成為片末最有喜感卻也最療癒的英雄身影！
在 Netflix常常看見題材有趣的小片，但常常品質粗糙或淡然無味或虎頭蛇尾，這部倒是由奇幻風格切入視覺、從反恐愛國類型切入題材、以童心的喜劇與家庭的悲劇戲路雙線交織、最終回歸社會關懷給予每個角色一個正向啟示、種種電影前頭慢慢鋪的大梗小梗全都在最後累積成一個都市傳奇，應該算是 Netflix小片中的傑作了！導演與演員中除了 Allison Janney 是電影演技派之外大多都是二線影視小明星，不過演員演技細膩、導演筆觸平實，在有限資源與技術下說好了一個動人小故事，令人對 Jennifer Morrison未來的導演之路更加期待。在此推薦。
