Lion Travel, which the #rail service provider outsourced to operate the service, said earlier this week that the two "Future Express" trains will debut on Dec. 31, one departing late at night from Taipei and the other from Taichung in central Taiwan, to celebrate #NewYearsEve aboard.

Katherine and I finish up our Taipei trip by being total tourists. We first check out the impressive Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall, then had some excellent xiao long bao before heading over to Taipei 101. It was finally time to take her up to the top of one of the world's tallest buildings, and we were not disappointed! Definitely a great day in Taipei :)
Katherine and I continue our weekend trip to Taipei. In this one we check out the Jian Guo Flower Market, Ximending, National Palace Museum, and Shilin Night Market. Unfortunately we didn't head into the museum... they wouldn't let us bring in the flowers! Maybe next time :)
