甩哥昨天沒有太多時間準備,就大略烤一些節慶應景的蔬菜來過節,當然過節就會多煮一些,所以今天早餐就輕鬆一些惹😂

雖然澱粉主食是剩菜,但是加熱後還是不減美味,另外再煎一顆蛋基本上我的早餐營養就很豐富了。

昨晚室友還有買感恩節必備的胡桃派與南瓜派,我的部分就順理成章變成了今天的下午茶,好滿足❤️,其實剩菜早餐也是很好吃的!完全沒浪費丁點食物喔~

For this episode, we demolished a 5KG Christmas Feast in the comfort of my home, courtesy of Cheers! Cheers generously sent a whole host of food straight to my doorstep, a Season’s Miracle Set ($200 net) and a Traditional Roasted Whole Turkey with Truffle Chestnut Stuffing ($83 net). The set serves 4-6 people comfortably while the turkey easily weighed close to 4KG.
Each dish came neatly packed in clear containers and the turkey was foil-wrapped to retain heat and moisture. Conveniently, the sauces (most of the dishes come with one) were packed separately and utensils were provided. It even came with a mixing bowl for the salad and tongs for tossing.
Flavour-wise, all the components were very good, but the standout dishes would be the Christmas Cobb Salad and Roasted Whole Turkey. The salad contained a delicious assortment of protein and greens, including smoked duck and tuna, elevated by the richness and creaminess of the added avocado and the Thousand Island dressing.
The turkey was huge, moist and tender. When I pulled the pieces apart, they dripped with turkey juices that made a luxurious mess on the pan. The bed of vegetables that the turkey came with soaked up all these juices that made them a splendid treat in between the turkey. The stuffing was so meaty and savoury that I initially thought it was sausage, but it was actually a truffle chestnut stuffing.
The Season’s Miracle Set comes with:
1. Christmas Cobb Salad comprising of Turkey Ham, Smoked Duck, Tuna Flakes, Hard-boiled Eggs, Avocado, Sweet Corn, Mixed Nuts, Tangy Thousand Island Aioli
2. Pasta Puttanesca with Olives, Capers, Anchovies and Tomato
3. Truffle Potato Gratin with Herbs and Parmigiano Reggiano
4. Market Seafood Boil with Louisiana Cajun Sauce
5. Roasted Norwegian Salmon Fillet with Aromatics served with Roasted Vegetables and Citrus Dill Butter Sauce
6. Breaded Chicken Roulade, Roasted Shallots with Herbs and Raisin Jus
7. Char-grilled Mediterranean Vegetable Kebab with Dukkah Spice

How to Make Rose Gyoza Dumplings (Ebi/Shrimp/Prawn Filling Recipe)
Difficulty: Easy
Time: 20min
Number of servings: 12 roses
Ingredients:
24 gyoza wrappers
A
* 100g (3.5oz.) chopped prawn
* 100g (3.5oz.) ground pork
* 1/4 chopped onion OR 1/4 chopped long onion
* 1 tbsp. ginger juice
* 2 tsp. sesame oil
* 2 tsp. soy sauce
* 1/4 tsp. salt
* pepper
1/2 tbsp. cooking oil
1/2 tbsp. sesame oil
baby leaf salad
grape tomatoes
sweet chili sauce if preferred
Directions:
1. Mix A very well.
2. Attach two Gyoza wrappers with water, each overlapping 1/2" over the other. Place the filling thin in the middle of the wrappers. Fold in half horizontally to create two semicircles. Roll the dumplings from one side to the other to create a rose. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling. *Watch the video
3. Heat cooking oil in a frying pan. Place the rose gyoza and cook on high heat until the bottoms become brown. Turn the heat down to medium, add 100ml water, cover and steam the gyoza on med-high until done. Uncover and cook on high until the water is gone and the bottoms of the gyoza are crisp. Sprinkle with sesame oil to give a tasty flavor.
4. Serve rose gyoza on top of baby leaf salad, garnish with grape tomatoes, and finish with sweet chili sauce if preferred.

A little while ago, after watching Jenna Marbles's video "Corn on the Cob But Instead of the Corn Bone It's A Hotdog" at https://youtu.be/4VosRKPBGE8
we thought to ourselves: "This is a trick corn on the cob recipe... we have to do it!" So finally, we took up the challenge.
More than we had anticipated, attaching the corn proved to be really difficult, but we pulled it off.
(We met Jenna Marbles in 2015 at YouTube Space Tokyo. She was overflowing with love!)
*Recipe*
1. Peel off the skin of washed potatoes (we used the May Queen variety this time.) Produce a net weight of 300 g.
2. Heat them for about 6 minutes in a 600W microwave oven.
3. Add 20 g of potato starch, 10 g of Parmesan cheese, and 2 pinches of table salt. Mash the potatoes.
4. Wrap 3 sausages (90 g) with #3. A little of #3 was left over.
5. Attach 275 g of canned corn to #4. The work was quite difficult. There wasn't enough corn, so we were able to make only 2 corn on the dogs.
6. Lightly spread salad oil onto some aluminum foil. Tightly wrap #5 with the foil.
7. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and bake for 20 minutes.
8. It's done. Writing that in letters took hardly any time at all, but the work was super difficult.
When attaching the corn, we were somehow able to do the work by wrapping the corn on the dogs with plastic wrap and holding the corn on the dogs down. With its sweetness, the corn will stick to your hands and the plastic wrap and then drop off, so we should have dampened our hands and the wrap with water while working.

「これって、なんちゃってトウモロコシだ、やるしかない!」と思っていたのですが、ついにチャレンジしてみました。
予想以上にコーンをさすのが大変で超困難なチャレンジになりましたが、なんとかでけた!
(ジェナ・マーブルズとは2015年にYouTube Space Tokyoで会ったことがあります。彼女は愛に溢れていました。)
*レシピ*
1.洗ったじゃがいも(今回 メークイーン)は皮を剥き切る。正味 300gにする。
2.600wの電子レンジで6分ほど加熱する。
3.片栗粉 20g、パルメザンチーズ 10g、塩 ふたつまみを加え、じゃがいもをつぶす。
4.ソーセージ 3本(90g)を3で包む。少し余りました。
5.缶詰のコーン 275gを4にさす。結構作業が大変だったのとコーンが足りなくなったので2本しかできませんでした。
6.アルミホイルに薄くサラダ油を塗り、5をキッチリと包む。
7.200度に予熱したオーブンで20分焼く。
8.でけた。文字で書くとあっという間ですが、作業が超大変でした。
コーンをさすとき、ラップで包みながら押さえながらやるとなんとか作業できました。甘味でコーンが手やラップにくっついてポロポロ落ちてしまうので水で濡らしながら作業すると良かったです。
