ITS TIME TO ZOMBIE UP, People!!!
Due to 17th. of August (Middle June in Lunar Calendar) is the Hungry Ghost Festival here in Taiwan, for respect and for all who they are offering offers or burning gold paper (the money in the other world) to worship ghosts could have some chances to release some stress from the Ghost Month Trandition -
Why not a ZOMBIE WALK here in Taiwan !
The original idea is based on nEmo's personal zombie walk experience in Melbourn, OZ. There are so many city zombie carnival everywhere around the world, but not in Taiwan yet so we are thinking as we are one of the model country who is paying so much respect to those dead offers, why not to make it alive in a fun way to bring up more young people to join in and get to know this old tranditional day!
We will collect all of the ZOMBIE WALKERS in the Art Musium Of Taichung at 16:30 including explaning the roules and the run-down of the day.
Zombies will starts to being alive at 17:00, The rute is from Wuquan Rd. turn left into Mei Chuan Rd. then Continueing turning left to Ying Cai Rd. keep all the way down till meet Taiwan Blvd cross the road, turn left again until Zhong Xing St. and another left to going straight , once past Gong Yi Rd into Taichung City Park in the middle of the lawn there is our ending place, hurray :D
As it is a ZOMBIE WALK event, we would love you to use your oringinal idea and a unique way to dress up yourself. Also for a better and easier walking and acting process we would suggest you not to bring too much stuffs with you, if you really wish to bring up a big sack or drinks or of course some pictures for yourself: a camera - bring up someone who is willing to following you all the way then :)
With full wish we do love to make this cool event comes true, but if the zombies are less than 20, unfortunately we would have to cut this amazing one off - for a better experience Taichung in this special Hungry Ghost Festival, call up everyone you know to join this event with us!!
For respect the people here, there are some rules to follow:
1. No temples allowed (means no entry please!)
2. Don't get people's offers off the offering table
3. No Gold paper spreading along the street

A little bit about ourself:
This is Whellow Travel, when WHITE meet YELLOW.
A story about a Taiwanese girl (nEmo) travel solo for 2383 days (yes, 6 and half year) so far, during her Europe trip, Couch- Surfing put Vladi the white one into her life, after a year long distance relationship (yes, she was still on road), he finally quit his job, rib off the leasing appartment and join her trip.
This is not only about the relationship of two, it is culture crossing, it is global exploring, it is having a trip together, and getting coloring (or anti-coloring) together. We are now traveling together over a year and will be a lot more of it!
To talk back to this whole ZOMBIE WALK idea was just a simple explaination about the Ghost Month and the Hungry Ghost Festival. I have this desire to let Vladi to have this remarkable memorries in Taichung, Taiwan then just talk about it, so PLEASE everyone,
Let's create our own special Zombies in Taichung!!
