第一次在北京過節的這天，我也把小說的第一章寫完。其實小說內容糾結了好多年，直到最近才開始動筆，我想寫作也是講緣份的吧。雖然還沒任何出版計畫，但希望能在兩個月內完成。總之，是個好的開始，元宵節快樂。
On this traditional day, I finally finished the first chapter of my novel. Truth is I’d been piecing the story together for years, but didn’t start writing until recently. I guess writing is also a form of serendipity. There’s no plan for publication yet, hopefully I can get it done in 2 months time. Anyway, Happy Lantern Festival!

We celebrate Lunar New Year plus festivals from all four major ethnic groups. I am able to eat all the tang yuan, ketupat and samosa anytime I want. But the story changes when I visit other non-Asian cities...
I have been sneered at, with vulgarities strewn on my face by local passerbys and outrightly rejected by cafe wait staff & mall cashiers during my travels to the US, UK and Europe, just because my skin color is different from theirs.💛
I stand in solidarity with the Asian American and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) community. My heart breaks when I see news of our elderly being the target of violent hate crimes. Don’t stay silent! #StopAsianHate message needs to be heard, not just in the US but everywhere else in the world too.

I believe that a video, no matter how short, tells a story. Rather than show you the most amazing beautiful interview settings, and corporate events, and professional cameras that I used to film throughout the year, I decided to highlight more of the adventurous and memorable moments of my year with my personal camera. This demo reel reflects more of who I am and my personal passions rather than highlight the different companies and documentaries that I was able to take part in. Most of this was filmed on my days off as I took adventures throughout Thailand.
All of the shots in this reel were shot by my own hands, except for one quick moment at the Lantern Festival. There is no color correction - 100% out of camera. I use a Circular Polarizor to help out on occasion.
I purposefully didn't include any Aerial footage in this demo reel because I have a separate demo reel for those amazing shots. Check out the link up above to see that video.
