🍁 Autumn in Japan 🍂
Daisetsuzan National Park
Ep 1.3 Asahidake
1. ปีนขึ้นไปยัง Top of Mt.

💌 Dear Adam,
After more than 2 years, I finally gathered enough strength to go back to our favourite place. I thought I was ready until we arrived there and I couldn’t even open the door to step my foot down from the car. As I peeped around from the car window, our whole memory together rolled back and hit me like a wave of tsunami. I quickly looked at Mr Dad’s face and thank God he understood my signal right away. He took the kids down and left me alone in the car.
There I was, at our favourite place, stuck in the car, my legs felt like jelly, my hands were icy cold in the late summer heat, my heart was pumping hard, my whole body was trembling like a volcanic mountain ready to vomit its lava…couldn’t make a move, couldn’t say a word! And not long after the kids disappeared from my sight…my tears ran down like a heavy rain. I cried and cried and cried.
After almost 2 hours, the kids walked back to the car with wide smiles on each of their faces. I was stunned looking at them. I spotted a sign of strength in them. Yes, they are stronger than me. They were so happy. They missed the place so much. They talked about our memories together. They took a walk down the memory lane walking back the trail that we last took together when you were here. And they already planned to come back again soon to create more memories at our favourite place.
And I’m glad. Relief. I found my strength back in them. I know this time I failed to get myself out there. But at least I’ve made the first move. InshaAllah next time I believe that I will be stronger to step down and be ready to create more memories with the kids at our favourite place. We will definitely be talking about you and how much we are still loving you…
Missing you,
Mrs Mom - @adamdidam’s second sister

With travel temporarily halted, we decided to explore the hidden gems within Singapore. Join us as we explore Thomson Nature Park, the 50-hectare buffer park unique for its rich cultural heritage as the site of a former Hainan Village. Thomson Nature Park is also home to a rich array of biodiversity and is notably a key conservation site for the critically endangered Raffles’ Banded Langur.
There are five trails within this park: Ruins and Figs Trail (1.50km), Streams and Ferns Trail (1.40km), Rambutan Trail (0.40km), Langur Trail (0.35km), and Macaque Trail (0.15km). Although we weren't fortunate enough to spot the elusive Raffles' Banded Langur on our multiple trips here, we did manage to catch wild boars and plenty of cheeky macaques.
May our videos be a form of escapism and source of zen for you, and encourage you to appreciate the little, simple things in life. Even in these turbulent times, there is still much beauty in this world if we keep our hearts and minds open.
Cheers!

In this hiking vlog I continue to explore the Peak District National Park. Discovering crazy hidden gems that few know about such as deep caves, old mines and unknown mountain hikes!
I started my hiking adventure by walking through a beautiful valley to a hidden cave near Chrome Hill. Next I hiked along the misty mountain tops to the summit of Chrome Hill. Next I went to the hidden gem called Old East Buxton Lime Kilns. After a night of camping in my car I then took a short drive to a hiking trail that took me to Lud's Church. I ended my Peak District hiking adventure by taking in the great view from the Hanging Stone near the Roaches.
I did this hike as part of my training for the Lejog. In June I will be walking the length of the UK for the mental health charity mind. During the build up to this hiking challenge I have been doing walks every other day in England to prepare. If you would like to support my fundraiser for the charity here is the link:

In this hiking vlog I go on a car camping and hiking adventure in the stunning Peak District National Park.
I first began my adventure by hiking along Dovedale. Along the hiking trail I discovered the secret caves Dove Holes and Reynards Cave. While hiking I also saw the impressive Ilam rock. Next I took a short drive to Throwley Old Hall which is an ancient ruin of a medieval manor over 800 years old. It was a great start to my adventure in the Peak District with lots of hiking to great hidden gems!
