“Then a woman who had suffered from a hemorrhage for twelve years came up behind Him and touched the [tassel] fringe of His outer robe; for she had been saying to herself, “If I only touch His outer robe, I will be healed.” But Jesus turning and seeing her said, “Take courage, daughter; your [personal trust and confident] faith [in Me] has made you well.” And at once the woman was [completely] healed.” (Matthew 9:20-22 AMP)
Sometimes we believe but we don’t speak what we believe.
Other times we keep on saying but we don’t believe.
Faith is like shooting a gun: believing is loading it with bullets. Speaking is pulling the trigger.
Can you fire without bullets or without pulling the trigger?
“Yet we have the same spirit of faith as he had, who wrote in Scripture, “I BELIEVED, THEREFORE I SPOKE.” We also believe, therefore we also speak,” (2 Corinthians 4:13 AMP)
Believe and speak—that’s when you will have effective faith.
How did the hemorrhaging woman come to believe in Jesus? She must have been hearing people who were talking about Jesus—about His miracles and about how He was healing everyone.
When you keep hearing about Jesus, faith will come.
