【 #世紀名曲 】我們在香港成長的一代人，都可能與 #顧家煇 （煇哥）相識在童年。湊巧地，《 #相識在童年 》也是煇哥寫給我唱的廣告歌。
對於這位「香港樂壇教父」，可說是無人不識，因他的經典名曲如《獅子山下》、《上海灘》等，和大部分的電視主題曲，都真正深入民心！有什麼秘技？我想：部分原因可能是與煇哥在TVB時做「秘撈」有關！

訪問在 #UncleRay 的家進行，這間住了逾五十年的屋，可以說是音樂寶藏，家中那一大幅白牆全掛了樂隊 #TheBeatles 照片，大廳有三組大木櫃收藏了二萬張唱片，Uncle Ray更分門別類，右邊櫃是爵士樂唱片，左邊和中間的櫃則放了流行音樂的唱片，井井有條；還有他喜歡的「#貓王」Elvis Presley的紀念品，他在DJ生涯中得到的榮譽獎座……
他曾說過永不言休，今年決定退下來，與疫情有關外，主要是年事已高，一○年，Uncle Ray曾做過心臟手術，現時要佩戴心臟起脈器；其實○八年之前，他已做過幾次「#通波仔」，始終年紀大和體形較胖，會有心血管病，阻塞血液流動很容易頭暈。「我現在年紀大，每晚做完節目會很累，是一個信號，我要退休了。」

加入港台四年，#UncleRay 獲得一次難得機會，到 #英國倫敦廣播電台 #BBC 受訓三個月，那時他已有十五年DJ經驗，對受訓內容感覺是小兒科。受訓完後有兩星期假期，他帶了一封由香港 #EMI（#百代唱片）的介紹信，走到英國的總部，因當時紅遍全球 #披頭四樂隊（ #TheBeatles）是EMI旗下。
