11月10日下午(美東時間)，美國國務卿蓬佩奧在記者會上宣布，美台經濟繁榮夥伴對話(Economic Prosperity Partnership Dialogue)將在20日展開。

“這表明我們與台灣的經濟關係，這個充滿活力的民主制度及可信賴的合作夥伴是強大且持續茁壯的。”蓬佩奧說將討論安全的供應鏈、5G、以及公共衛生等領域的問題。

這是川普政府任內，在包括美國衛生部長艾薩、國務院次卿柯拉克等高官陸續訪台後，又一重大的美台關係進展。

臺灣駐美大使 #蕭美琴 第一時間回復媒體詢問時證實這個消息。她表示，由於防疫考量，會議將以實體搭配視訊方式進行，將由 #臺灣經濟部次長 #陳正祺 率團到華盛頓，與 #美國國務院次卿 #柯拉克 對談。
