We dined in the dark and was served by visually impaired waiter. It was total pitched dark 😱 What an experience trying to figure out where things were, guessing what we were eating and at the same time trying to not make a big mess. 😂

This experience made me reflect on when was the last time you truly looked at someone in the eyes and had a conversation with them? Often times, we’re so busy “gazing” at our phones scrolling through images or videos even when we are dining together or having a so called conversation. This experience has taught me to be more present with my senses and focus on being with that person or being fully involved in one task at a time.. ☺️

แล้วอาสามาสอนเด็กในชุมชนแออัด จนขยายไปถึงการดูแลคนป่วย คนยากไร้ และคนชรา ที่ถูกทิ้งไว้ตามลำพัง ซึ่งเป็นปัญหาหลักที่เกิดขึ้นในชุมชนแออัด
ทั้งหมดถ่ายจากสถานที่จริง และมีเรื่องน่าเศร้าเกิดขึ้นคือ 1ในคนชราที่ป่วยติดเตียงและไม่มีญาติ ที่เราไปถ่ายทำ ได้เสียชีวิตลงเพราะติดเชื้อในกระแสเลือดหลังจากถ่ายทำไป 6 อาทิตย์
มื้อหน้าจะมีกินหรือเปล่า? จะตายเมื่อไหร่ก็ไม่รู้? เป็นเรื่องที่อยู่ในใจตลอดเวลาสำหรับคนที่มีปัญหาที่นี่

"Kru Chao" is an orphan, abandoned at the hospital from birth. Raised in a shelter, visually disabled person and intellectually impaired, but he graduated.
Then volunteer to teach children in crowded community to the care of the poor and the elderly left alone, which is the main problem in crowded community.
All taken from the real place and the sad thing happened is 1 of the elderly who are sick in bed and no relatives we went to film has died because of blood stream after 6 weeks of filming.
Will there be any next meal? I don't know when I die? It's always in mind for people who have trouble here.

很久沒有好好充電，今天有一種趕進度的fu! 下午看了小事製作 Les Petites Choses Production 即將登場的作品「生活是甜蜜」，實在太好看了、太有創意，看了就覺得整個身體都有感覺。接著去北美館繞了一圈，泡在視覺藝術與裝置藝術其中尋找些eye candy。到了晚上去看實演場 The LAB Space的「盲女驚魂記」觀賞黑盒子裡的驚悚舞台劇。大家可以播時間去看喔，這一天下來覺得收獲很大！I always think of myself is the type of person who goes to see theater and art shows on a regular basis, but to be honest, it's been a loooong time. The day started with the amazing Les Petites Choses dance company, with their new piece "ache & moan", which was hands down the best dance piece I've seen all year -- visceral, mind-expanding, as accessible as it was creative. I had a blast at the Alice's Rabbit Hole exhibit (not featured in the pix), including a piece where you wear a headset and follow instructions to participate in a large group dance. Then, at night, FINALLY got to see a production at The LAB Space. The latest piece, a thriller called Wait Until Dark, definitely made me jump on numerous occasions, with great direction by Brook Hall, some clever prop tricks, and a cast that made me want to keep watching. Having worked with a visually impaired co-host over the last two years, I was duly impressed by the attention to detail by the director and Esther Veronin (in the part of Susy) in bringing a blind character to the stage.

Imagine you are visually impaired and you have no one that can help. We had this opportunity to experience being a disabled person and guided by River, a guide dog from Samsung Guide Dog School. Check this out till the end!
