The water crisis has affected us for about a week now, but that’s no excuse to let your house go uncleaned!

Here are some water saving tips for doing the house chores:

1. Avoid leaving the tap running.
Fill a bucket with the amount of water you need and use only the water inside to clean. This way you avoid opening and closing the tap every time you need to wet your cleaning cloth, which will also prevent a waste of water.

2. Do all your washing in one go.
Whether it’s your dirty dishes or your laundry, you'll save a lot, both in terms of water and energy. When doing your dishes, wipe off all the oil and other leftover food stains using a tissue first. This also helps you to save water as you don’t need to rinse it off first. For clothes with noticeable stains, soak them first using just enough water to cover the clothing, and then reuse it in the washing machine. Most importantly, do run your washing machine only when you have a full load.

3. Recycle your water
Certain types of water can be recycled - for example the water you use to wash your vegetables can also be used to rinse the dishes later. Alternatively, if you have any leaking taps in your house, don’t let the water go to waste! Even if you can’t fix the tap immediately, you can collect the water to clean the bathroom / mop the floor later.

Rich milk agar recipe. By adding condensed milk without using water, the milky feeling increases and it is delicious. Even if you put your favorite fruit, you can enjoy it deliciously. Please make it by all means because it can be easily made.

Cooking time: 160 minutes
Estimated cost: around 300 yen


【material】
 1 car (19 × 13 × 3cm)

350ml milk
Powder agar 4g
① Granulated sugar 2 tbsp
① Condensed milk 2 tbsp

--- Topping ---
2 oranges
6 strawberries


【procedure】
1. Cut strawberries and tangerines in half.

2. Put milk and powdered agar in a pan, boil for about 1 minute while heating over medium heat, melt powdered agar and remove from heat.

3. Add ① and mix until the granulated sugar is dissolved.

4. Arrange 1 in the mold and strain 2 with a strainer.

5. Take the rough heat, put it in the refrigerator, cool it for about 1 hour and solidify it.

【Cooking Tips】
If you do not boil the agar for 1 to 2 minutes, the coagulation rate will decrease and it will be difficult to solidify, so be sure to heat it for 1 to 2 minutes while boiling.
After heating, it hardens at room temperature, so be careful not to take too much heat before putting it in the mold.
