I promised that I would share everything that I’ve done that contributed to this transformation of mine.
Besides my usual training regime for Ironman triathlons and my new hobby of wakeboarding, I had a majorcleanup of the diet where I cut out junk food and replaced simple carbs with complex carbs.
There was one more thing I did - I took a health supplement called Pruvit.
I first heard about Pruvit in 2018 and I tried it back then, along with a ketogenic diet. The Pruvit Keto OS is an exogenous ketone supplement that helps your body achieve ketosis (where the body burns fat instead of carbs for energy) quicker.
In 10 days, I lost nearly 2kg on a keto diet but I felt terrible. I had no energy to train and I was craving for carbs so badly. Thus I decided to stop the ketogenic diet completely and also stop taking Pruvit.
Early this year, I decided to give Pruvit a second chance. This time, I took Pruvit as a health supplement, as the Pruvit ketones are actually diet independent, meaning you can take them regardless of what diet you are on, and you will still gain the benefits of ketones.
For two months, I drank the Pruvit Keto OS everyday together with my change in diet and my training regime. I conclude that Pruvit has contributed to my transformation – both physical and emotional. I have not only leaned out, but I also feel a lot better, with more energy.
I’m not saying you need to exercise as much as I do, or go to extremes and cut out junk food entirely, but I believe you will see results from taking ketones. By results, I mean improved energy and improved body composition.
The focus here is not on weight loss, as Pruvit is NOT a weight loss supplement. However, if you take care of your body right, you might see weight loss as a bonus.
I would say that Pruvit is for people who feel tired all the time and want to improve your energy levels, and for people who want to improve their body composition (ie. more muscle, less fat).

Food needs no label 🚫 - Keto 🥓☕️🧀 vs Food 🍳🥑🌱 (may be classified as Keto too) Keto lifestyle can certainly work for some, however, like any diet should not be a cult or dictatorship.

The Keto diet has risen to fame with some valid merits however there are some common flaws & misconceptions. Thanks to @livevitae for highlighting these diet issues. In a Keto diet certain meals which are more fat focussed at specific times and based around activity & energy demands such as stress or digestion.

✅What you'll notice here its all about the details. They are both keto. However, the right side is far superior in nutrients + less inflammatory + more fibre + satisfying and mouthwatering✅

❌🙅🏻♀️Living off processed animal meat + poor fat profile & coffee (also an anti-nutrient) with a stick of butter & coconut oil is a waste of calories in my opinion. However, I do my own version of a bulletproof coffee which is by no way a 500 calorie drink. I do not think it's a magically or fat loss aid 🤣

There are some great people out there who are educated and understand the value of a ketogenic approach, yet do not make it diet or cult as such. They just incorporate some aspects of keto in their lifestyle and still reap the rewards🥑❤️

These are what I ate on the 3rd week since I got back from Japan.

⇨ Day 1
☆ Chocolate Protein Smoothie
2 TBS Tropeaka Lean Protein Powder
2 TSP Tropeaka Immunity
1 TSP Tropeaka Maca Powder
1 TSP Tropeaka Cacao Powder
6 ice cubes / almond milk
250 ml of almond milk
20g of Brazil Nuts
Banana (Optional)
☆ Burrito Bowl:
Beef (Porterhouse, Scotch Fillet, or Rump)
2-3 Tomatoes
1 Large Avocado
Button Squash
Sour Cream (optional)
Cheddar Cheese (optional)
Salad Leaves
1/2 Red Onion
1 Lemon
Corainder
First make pico de gallo. Chop up 2 tomatoes, 1/2 a red onion, some corainder. Mix them in a bowl and squeeze in 1/2 a lemon or 1 lemon.
Mash up your avocado and add the remaining lemon or lime. Your preference.
Chop up the steak into small cubes and fry it over stove with coconut oil. Season with salt and pepper.
Then just mix them all together in a bowl. Use your favourite salad leaves, or vegetables. I've roasted some squash here as well.
⇨ Day 2
☆ Matcha Protein Cleanse Smoothie:
1 TSP of Tropeaka Matcha
1 TBS of Tropeaka Vanilla Lean Protein Powder
2 TSP of Tropeaka Ultra Cleanse
Stevia (optional - I use a few drops)
Banana or your favourite fruits (Optional)
1/2 an Avocado
250ml Almond Milk/Coconut Milk
☆ Smoked Salmon Salad
Honestly I just mix everything together. I don't have measurements of this one.
☆ Kale, sweet potato and Roast Chicken
I rarely ever roast my own chicken anymore. I just buy them from the local charcoal chicken store.
I coat my sweet potato with some coconut oil and roast it in the oven for about 15-20 mins in total. Flip the sweet potatoes once.
For kale, i normally stir fry is quickly with some coconut oil and salt so that it's easier to digest.
⇨ Day 3
☆ Matcha Chocolate Truffle
200g of Cacao Butter
28g of Coconut Oil
80ml of coconut Cream
1 tsp of vanilla extract
Stevia/erythritol (To taste - you can add both)
For the coating:
Some matcha powder and erythritol (Swerve) - mix them together.
This is actually quite hard to make.
First melt the cacao butter and coconut oil slowly using a double boiler. Make SURE you don't burn the butter. You'll have to do it VERY slowly. I melt probably about 3/4 of the cacao butter then i chuck all the rest of the ingredients in the food processor and blend them together so that it is like a ganache texture. Not watery, more like creamy! Add your favourite sweetener. You can use coconut sugar, caster sugar, honey, maple syrup, etc. Then pop the mixture into a piping bag or a zip lock bag and squeeze them into an ice cream/ chocolate mold. Then freeze it for about 15 minutes or so, or longer.
Then take it out and let it rest for a while before you coat them!
☆ Prawn + Squash + Salad
I just roast the squash in the oven for about 15 mins. Coated with coconut oil and salt
For the prawns. Just fry it with some coconut oil, some tomato paste, salt, pepper, garlic, ginger and turmeric. Very easy.
⇨ Day 5
☆ Matcha Chia Seed Pudding (SUPER TASTY)
1 tsp of Tropeaka Matcha Powder
30g of Chia Seeds
50ml of Full Coconut Cream
70ml of Almond Milk
1 tsp of Vanilla Extract
A few drops of Stevia or Maple Syrup
Let it set in the fridge!
Taste sooooo GOOODDD!!! I love the pudding!
⇨ Day 6-7 recipes are really basic. I get the fatty king fish cuts from our local japanese grocery. Very GUD!

I reckon it's time for me to do an update for personal use and to let you guys know how intermittent fasting went for me. It is going really well to be honest. I'm still doing it but I might consider doing 5 days of fasting and 2 days of non fasting days now.

Other updates:
I didn't lose my period. I actually had my period in time and for the first time in a year, I didn't have unbearable period pain. I don't know if that's correlated to int fasting or not. I will have let you guys know more about that after a couple of months.
Also, I started ketogenic diet along with intermittent fasting 3 weeks ago because I wanted to see how I go with it. It is definitely not as easy as doing fasting alone. It is honestly quite challenging at first but i sticked through with it. Definitely don't recommend anyone to go into keto without doing some research and be prepared for it.
Also forgot to add in the macadamia nuts section to my what i eat section. I consume about 50g of nuts everyday to hit my fat intake. Mostly macadamia with almonds. Almonds is high in potassium and macadamia on the other hand has loads of fat content which is great for keto diet.
