แพ้ทางหนังแบบนี้เสมอ แนว Groundhog Day ย้อนเวลากลับไปแก้ไขอดีตเพื่อจะได้สมหวังกับคนที่ปิ๊ง หนังเล่าถึงปาร์ตี้ฮาโลวีนเมื่อ 3 ปีก่อน 'โนอาห์' (Adam Devine) บังเอิญเจอ 'เอเวอรีย์' (Alexandra Daddario) ในปาร์ตี้ ทั้งคู่เคมีคลิกกัน ทุกอย่างเหมือนจะเป็นไปได้ดีแต่สุดท้ายลงเอยแค่เพื่อนกัน ส่วนปัจจุบันเธอกำลังแต่งงานกับ 'อีธาน' (Robbie Amell) หนุ่มที่บังเอิญเจอเพราะเธอต้องออกไปซื้อของที่โนอาห์กินจนหมดเกลี้ยง เป็นเหตุให้เขาเสียใจเมามายจน 'แครี่ย์' (Shelley Hennig) ต้องขับรถไปส่ง ซึ่งทำให้เขาบังเอิญย้อนเวลากลับไปตอนเจอเอเวอรีย์ครั้งแรก ก่อนจะตัดสินใจเปลี่ยนแปลงตัวเองทุกทางเพื่อจะได้สมหวังกับคนที่คิดว่าใช่

และต่อให้มองได้ถูกต้อง เจอคนที่โคตรจะเข้ากันได้ดี แต่ถ้าจังหวะไม่ถูกต้อง มันก็พังไม่เป็นท่าได้เหมือนกัน

Đây là show được Thầy Đạt review cho các bạn ôn luyện tiếng anh đấy và có thể nói show này xem khá cuốn hút vì nó về chủ đề tình cảm ướt át 😂.
✅ Lí do thầy Đạt reccommend show này có ích cho SP2 là vì các nhân vật trong show thường kể lại trải nghiệm về tình yêu ngày xưa của họ với ex, nên họ dùng nhiều cách diễn đạt rất tự nhiên về kể chuyện, chưa kể có nhiều vocab xịn lắm. Đây là show của Úc nên bạn nào chuộng giọng Úc hoặc đang muốn luyện nghe giọng Úc thì xem thử nha, họ nói cũng dễ nghe lắm.
✅ Show có nhiều vocab xịn xò lắm các bạn ơi, mình list ra 1 số mình nghe được trong tập 1 thôi nha:
- A crosses B’s mind: B thinks of A
- give it a shot: try it again
- fall in love
- take precedence: được ưu tiên hơn
- live the single life: sống độc thân >< live the family life
- go for sth: choose sth
- genuine (a): chân thàn
- push sb away
- commit to a relationship: một lòng một dạ / nghiêm túc trong mqh
✅ Mình thử đọc cùng nhau 1 đoạn sau nhé, đoạn này là 1 anh chàng đang kể lại kỉ niệm khi quen bạn gái cũ và vì sao 2 người chia tay. Những đoạn như vầy cực xịn để mọi người học theo cách diễn đạt cho speaking part 2 khi kể lại 1 trải nghiệm đó nha:
“When Lauren and I first met 11 years ago, she was gazing at me across the dance floor. She came up to me, she flirted with me a bit, and the attraction grew from there, and ultimately, we fell in love. And because I was busy with work, Lauren and I would spend Sundays together. Time was very scarce, and my work took precedence. Lauren didn’t take that very lightly at all. Lauren and I broke up 6 times over 6 years, so we averaged once a year. The sixth time was the biggest regret in my life. I miss her a lot. I don’t think there’ll be another one like her.”
✅ Mới 1 đoạn ngắn thôi mà mình thấy xuất hiện nhiều vocab hay rồi, chẳng hạn như “came up to me / the attraction grew / took precedence / take something lightly”, và những cụm này đa phần thuộc về văn nói nên nghe tự nhiên lắm các bạn ạ. Nếu bạn có cụm nào không hiểu thì cứ làm thao tác sau.
Chẳng hạn cụm “take that very lightly at all”, thì mình rút ra được công thức gốc của nó là “take something lightly”, các bạn cứ vào Google và tra cụm đó + chữ “meaning”.
Ví dụ: take something lightly meaning —> là sẽ ra nghĩa liền. Sau đó take note lại và ôn thường xuyên list từ nhé. Qua vài ngày vài tuần nó sẽ ngấm và lần sau khi bạn gần “kích hoạt” khái niệm này trong đầu thì miệng bạn sẽ dễ bật ra cụm này hơn.
♥️ Thực ra đây là cách mình ôn vocab cho speaking để đạt được khả năng speaking như hôm nay đó cả nhà. Vocab dùng đúng ngữ cảnh và tự nhiên nhất có thể (học từ người bản xứ chứ không học sách).
♥️ Như nhiều bạn đã từng học với thầy Đạt cũng biết, phương châm của thầy Đạt là học ngôn ngữ thì phải enjoy trải nghiệm đó chứ không nhồi quá sẽ khó thấm lắm các bạn. Hoạt động xem phim các bạn có thể bỏ ra khoảng 30’-60’/ngày nếu có ít thời gian, vừa xem vừa take note lại, vừa giải trí vừa học được nhiều điều hay. Làm vậy sau vài tháng thì mình bảo đảm bạn sẽ lên trình Listening và Speaking rõ rệt hihi. Nhưng nhớ phải ôn vocab nhé!😘😘

"The Artist", Singapore's Hidden Talent

I was walking from Clarke Quay to Chinatown on a Friday night.
I had a few glasses of Guinness that night and was really tipsy.
I was about the approach the tunnel when I started to hear a man busking and singing a rock and roll song.
I wondered who this man would be?
I continued to walk and was mesmerised by his voice. There's a tone that is just wonderful to listen to. It is my first time to have met a busker in Singapore with such a voice.
I wondered, why is he not performing on a stage, I asked myself.
I initially tipped him $10 (as we all should do). But one song was not enough. I spoke to him and asked, " Can you sing more while I film you and I will give you $50?". He replied nicely and said, "Can I pick my own song?".
He started to sing more and more.
As I was there filming, I noticed the crowd started to stop and join him singing.
Some people already knew him and was there to request a song and sing a long.
He had a duet with a woman and sang it beautifully. They covered "Shallow" by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper.
This video showed his other side. He took a spin of the song "At My Worst" by Pink $weats. I was totally blown.
That night became so meaningful. I was tired and tipsy, but his passion radiated. I continued my journey to Chinatown to film my documentary. For now, enjoy this music.

Hi! I'm Eden Kai aka Yusuke from Netflix Terrace House Aloha State. Hope you enjoy this video about "My First Trip to LA" part 3. In this video, some behind the scenes when I collaborated with famous YouTuber Andrew Fung of the Fung Bros and Japanese actress Narisa Suzuki in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles! Narisa is also friends with one of the Terrace House Aloha State castmates, too! Hint: his nickname is the "guilty samurai", lol... ;) I had an awesome time and we ate lots of delicious food!
Then, a short clip of me playing "She Saw Me Dance" at the JACCC Plaza for the 77th Nisei Week Festival 2017. Also, met the beautiful 2017 Nisei Week Royal Court Princesses at the Aratani Theater. They had a special request for me to play "Monogatari"... I had so much fun with an impromptu performance at the Aratani Theater. The acoustics and sound were amazing there! Glad I had my ukulele with me! :-)

ABOUT EDEN KAI:

Eden also recognizes the importance of using his music to help others. He has hosted several ukulele workshops in Honolulu and Japan, been the featured performer at the Waikiki Spam Jam, benefiting the largest non-profit in Hawaii that feeds the needy, and the Hawaii Food and Wine Festival from which proceeds helped local children in the community. Eden has donated proceeds from some of his songs to assist humanitarian causes, including the support of a health center in Haiti and the purchase of educational materials for children in Bangladesh.
