Humans we have a house as a habitat.
Sea Aquariums also have coral reefs like a house.
But.. Did you know that this time the home of sea aquarium is slowly being destroyed?
When coral reefs with 148,955 rais of the Gulf of Thailand and Andaman.
Facing a challenge
2541 coral reefs are 36.4 % damaged by all.
2558 coral reefs are 78.4 % damaged by all.
In just 17 years, the damage has risen to the same.
Many people may see this as far away.
But it's actually related to all of us.
Because without coral, there is no habitat for sea animals.
The consequences of the beasts of the sea are fewer quantities.
Impacting the ecosystem and going back to hurt humans eventually.
There is another story that many people may not know yet.
Coral reefs are like powerful natural dams
That can reduce sea wave strength by 97 % and wave height by 84 %
This is an important assistant to reduce maritime disaster.
And these issues have caused the petroleum group in our house.
Want to be a part of the under ocean aquarium home
So what are the petroleum companies doing
Investman will tell you about it.

Petroleum production in the Gulf of Thailand has been conducted for more than 40 years. With various rigs installed to produce more than 400 petroleum together.
These rigs, petroleum companies have to demolish when they enter conditions like when the petroleum production period ends or no longer works, or the petroleum reserves can't be produced worthwhile in. Commercial
Where demolition can benefit the economic system.
An example that clearly sees the demolition of the petroleum rig in Erawan source and Bongkhon which did not deliver to the state after the concession end of 2565-2566 concessions. 53 preliminary podium is predicted to help 1,000 positions of employment per year and investment value over 10,000 million baht.
And what many people may not know is that in many countries, the petroleum leg is used to make artificial coral reefs like we've seen bringing strong, durable and large non-use materials to make artificial coral reefs. The implementation of train van or tanks to become a source of aquariums. The idea is to be made in Thailand as well as starting a prototype project at Koh Phangan.
The study of this project began in P.E. 2556 between Department of Marine and Coastal Resources (TCO) ) Together with Thailand's Petroleum Institute, we use the same steel structure as the petroleum leg to be artificial coral reef around Pha Ngan's Bay, Suratthani province. Here.
7 years later, found that this iron rig has coral reefs attached to each other everywhere.
Along with many aquariums inhabited.
And what happened is not just an abundance under the sea.
But it also affects the better living of people on the ground.
When sea aquariums get more amount, folk fishermen earn more income.
And it attracts tourists who are interested in seeing the beauty under the sea.
When this happens, it increases the chances of selling to other people.
And may create a business related to many new tourism, which also leads to more employment.
From the success of the prototype project and other support results, it is a pilot project to bring petroleum leg to the first artificial reef in Thailand, Ko Phangan area. It is a collaborative project between the Department of Maritime and Coastal Resources ( T-T-T. ), Chevron and Chulalongkorn University which are going to be in action in August to September. The result of this pilot project will be able to guide the demolition of installments used in petroleum business. I can get it in the future.
This is a good case study for us.
Who would have thought that the end of duty petroleum leg after working for more than 40 years
Other benefits to underwater living things to people on earth to live better living in indirectly.
Just by looking ′′ different ′′ and thinking around the side.
Maybe something worth a piece of metal can create huge benefits instantly.

Enjoyed a refreshing and thoroughly enriching morning at the Southern Islands yesterday.
Visited NParks’ turtle hatchery on Little Sisters’ Island, where we were extremely lucky to see turtle hatchlings emerge from their nest! Then headed over to Lazarus and St John’s Island just 1 km away. There we visited the Marine Park Outreach and Education Centre, St John's Island National Marine Laboratory, and SFA’s Marine Aquaculture Centre. Also met many Singaporeans there with family and friends to picnic, fish, #jalanjalan, and even free-dive!
The Sisters’ Islands Marine Park is Singapore’s first marine park. It covers the area around Sisters' Islands and the reefs of St John's Island and Pulau Tekukor. NParks partnered JTC to create large artificial reef structures around Sisters’ Island to promote coral growth and marine biodiversity.
Besides research, education and outreach, NParks has also involved passionate community volunteers. Groups like International Coastal Cleanup Singapore and Our Singapore Reefs regularly lead clean-ups of marine trash on our beaches, mangroves, and coral reefs (apparently, cigarette butts are the biggest component of marine waste). We can all do our part protecting our environment by keeping Singapore litter-free.
It’s the September school holidays this week, so why not take the time to explore our parks and nature reserves? You’ll be surprised at what you will discover! – LHL
