SHOULD YOU QUIT YOUR JOB NOW?
“You have to help me quit my job!”
Even though the video was off, I could tell from Bria’s voice that she was in tears. This strong woman couldn’t keep herself together anymore.
“You’re experiencing strong emotions now. That’s very natural,” I said, wanting to help her feel safe and accepted.
After all, Bria and I had only met once in an event. Knowing that I was a coach, she reached out the next day to see if I could help.
If there’s anything I’ve learned from my years of coaching, it’s that when the person is emotional, you need to give them the space to feel it.
So as Bria sobbed, I stayed silent, feeling my belly rise and fall with each breath. After a short while, I could sense that her wave of emotion had passed.
“Shall we take one long easy breath together?” I asked.
I heard her breathing with me. I paused, allowing Bria the time to settle, then I asked her to tell me what’s so difficult to her about her job.
After listening to her sharing, I said: “I can definitely help you, Bria.” I heard a sigh of relief on the other end. “But only if you promise me you won’t quit your job yet.”
3 months after that conversation, Bria waltzed in my office one evening holding a bottle of red wine: “Let’s celebrate!”
She had a giddy grin on her face, the very special grin with a dimple that I’d come to love after many hours supporting her. “Oh! Is it okay for us to drink a glass of wine in our coaching session?” She asked.
I laughed: “Of course. What are we celebrating?”
Bria said, her face brightened even more: “I just realized today that I have the perfect job!”
The most fascinating thing about this story is that the “perfect job” she referred to was the exact same job she had practically begged me to help her quit.
Bria’s circumstances hadn’t changed. But her experiences of the circumstances had changed 180 degrees. Why? Because she did.
Bria’s story teaches me once again, that life is truly created from the inside out.

All Failures & Lacks Are The Best Things to Happen to Us

3 months ago, when I received this email from my Taiwan client, there was this feeling of bittersweetness.
I was happy because this was the client I did a Zoom consultation last June. He sent me this email on the one-year anniversary date of our Zoom call, to express his gratitude. How sweet!
On the other hand, I could relate to the emotional turmoil he felt at that point in his life.
His experience was my past. It also took me a very long time to walk out from my gloominess.
Once, I analysed the Bazi of a very young lady. She was meticulously jotting down notes as I spoke.
Her detailed note-taking skills easily took the top place among my clients.
Halfway through, I noticed her right hand was trembling slightly. I thought it was due to the cold draft from the air conditioning, so I asked if she needed a shawl.
She replied that it was her anxiety disorder acting up.
“I was not fierce or strict with you. What caused your sudden anxiety?”
“I…ever since the pandemic disrupted my plans, I have been in this state of anxiety. I kept feeling useless. All my classmates are progressing expect me. I have nothing to show for and my life is in a mess. I am very anxious. What if I continue to be like this? What am I going to do?”
As she spoke, her eyes turned red and tears started rolling down like a broken strand of pearl necklace scattering onto the ground.
Oh dear! I am beginning to wonder if I have a tear-jerker face or a heart-tormenting voice. Why do my clients, regardless of gender and age, North South or East West, seem to cry easily when they see me?
I grabbed a piece of tissue and handed it to her.
“Ain’t I here already? You came to me for a roadmap and you are very lucky to see me so soon. Look at how precise and neat your notes are! Many of my clients aren’t even on par with you. My job today is to give you answers. If I didn’t have the confidence, I would not have taken up your request. Now that I did, that means there is still hope. If you follow my instructions, you will see things looking up very soon.”
On another occasion, a mother in her forties came to me for her son’s Bazi consultation.
As I was analysing, the mother nodded her head in agreement. The next thing I know, she started weeping loudly.
I turned to look at her husband, who had been silent all along. Did I say something wrong? And hello, your wife was crying. Why weren’t you gentleman enough to give her a tissue paper?
“I am a useless mother. I am incompetent. I do not know how to teach my son well. I love my son very much. But many times, I do not know what to do and thus I flare up at him and speak harshly. I always regret afterwards. I tried enduring but it still ends badly!”
I did not interrupt her and waited for her cries to soften, before speaking gently, “I’m here! I’m already sitting in front of you. You are looking at me now and that means help is here. You know that you are incompetent, so you went looking for solutions. That means you are willing to learn how to be a better mother!”
I handed a piece of tissue and said, “Don’t cry anymore, otherwise, other patrons will think that it’s because I refuse to lend you money.”
Since young, we have been using external possessions to define whether our lives are worth liking.
The family we are born into, our looks, health, body shape, intellect, talents, and then we move on to compare our academics, friendships, career, wealth, marriage and children.
If we are lacking in the area we covet most, we grade our lives as a failure.
I think this is the biggest problem in societal education. Our parents and teachers categorized us that way. Whether we as children are worthy of their love and bragging, depends on the few points above too.
Thus over time, we can only use the term “success” to determine whether we are of value, for some people, whether they should live on to take their next breath.
I very much prefer the definition in Buddhism. We are all Buddhas. Each and every sentient being in the six realms has a Buddha nature in them. But they got lost momentarily and fell into the endless wheel of reincarnation.
Yet, because of our Buddha nature, we have an unlimited source of potential. Every one of us has a very powerful strength inside us. It is just waiting for us to meet an accomplished teacher, so that we have the tools to explore and understand it:
And this strength that we are born with is the capital for us to transform and establish our own destiny.
If life is smooth-sailing, we would never want to leave and would mistake this mortal realm for Pureland. Thus, we all need sufferings, to realise that we should break out of this hell of a place. There has to be a better world somewhere. So how we get there?
We should, in fact, be grateful for all the setbacks and failures we have. Because it is from these sufferings, our wisdom arise:
No single Bazi is perfect. Every failure and lack we experience is the best arrangement for us, so that the heart of renunciation will arise in us and we will return to where we came from.

Today is such a looooong day, why does Monday always suck the life out of us? But despite the endless work call and never ending task lists, I feel so contended. I took my time to a long hot shower (the ones that burns skin), and pour myself an ice cold cucumber water and a good solid mask. Using the world’s first customized microbiome sheet mask range, 7 days straight and my skin has never felt so hydrated ever.
Immensely proud of this local brand @bblabs.international , who educates the importance of skin barrier instead of focusing a short term relief - which is drying out the affected areas that will eventually triggered our oil gland to produce more oil thinking that we are out of it. Then the biscuits cycle continues. All their products are MADE on Malaysia too. 🇲🇾🇲🇾
From having 60 active hormonal acnes on my face to none, it took exactly 1 year! So, trust the process and most importantly, trust science and READ the ingredients!

Hello Hello friends,
Happy 1st day of March! Sorry it took so long to get this vlog up. My social battery has been a little low lately. This video pretty much sums up February for us. Ayla and I have been busy administering vaccinations with the babies. Apparently according to her, our vaccine is completely safe for all ages. Thank you to all the real nurses, doctors and caregivers out there being true heroes!!
Ps. YOUNG PEOPLE DON'T OWN OR DICTATE FASHION.

(Why did you let it go?)
Until I reached the limit 抑え続けて、Ah ah
Keep looking for another way
I know it's true
I didn't wanna face the truth
Ive been running away
Cuz it hurts it hurts
Take it away from me
I'll face the world and move ahead
I know it's true
It's hard to make a change
Let's take a small step
One by one never stop
I'll make a change
Take a breath、looking at this sight in front of me
Never-ending pain that stays in my chest. How long is this gonna continue?
Always telling myself that your gonna repeat this again?
Hug me gently and don't let me go if not.
I'm gonna turn into a dark and won't be able to see
Until I reach the limit I keep holding it down
Because I don't wanna destroy it
Anxiety kicks in because I can't see
A lot of Impossible events conflicts in my head
Always alone in regret and sorrow
If I have to repeat this all the time
Getting scared by taken over
That's why I cannot keep moving forward
It helps me countless times by grabbing your hands
when you reach out to me
Keep looking for another continue searching
To change me because I have to
I know it's true I didn't wanna face the truth
I've been running away Cuz it hurts it hurts
Take it away from me
Don't let me go forever. If I cannot live alone, I'll face the world and move ahead I'll do my best to change
to brighten my future ahead
It starts from now
I know it's true
It's hard to make a change
Let's take a small step
One by one never stop
I'll make a change

Lyrics:
People say I try too hard
People say I come off really awkward
You know I don’t mean no harm
I’m just trying to be myself but
Sometimes I get confused
‘Cause I can’t read social cues
Threw my inhibitions out the door
I don’t have an excuse
I’m just living in my youth
Don’t know why people don’t like me more
I have no friends but that’s okay
I don’t need them anyway
I do my best all on my own
And I’d just rather be alone
Rather be alone
I have no friends but I’ll be fine
I don’t need them to pass the time
And when I put my resting bitch face on I look stone cold
I’d just rather be alone
Rather be alone
I have no friends
I have no friends but that’s okay
I don’t need them anyway
I do my best all on my own
And I’d just rather be alone
Rather be alone
I have no friends
You’ll never know what’s on my mind
You’ll never know the secrets that I’m keeping
I’ll scare you off with my crazy eyes
‘Cause all I need is me myself and
I don’t got no shame
‘Cause my life is just a game
And I don’t care who’s been keeping score
Everybody thinks I’m strange
It’s just something in my brain
Don’t know who they’re being normal for
I have no friends but that’s okay
I don’t need them anyway
I do my best all on my own
And I’d just rather be alone
Rather be alone
I have no friends but I’ll be fine
I don’t need them to pass the time
And when I put my resting bitch face on I look stone cold
I’d just rather be alone
Rather be alone
I have no friends
I have no friends but that’s okay
I don’t need them anyway
I do my best all on my own
And I’d just rather be alone
Rather be alone
I have no friends
I don’t need anybody’s hand to hold at night
As long as I’m with me I know I’ll be alright
‘Cause I can’t love no one else
Spent my love on just myself
Took this people-pleaser heart
And I tore it all apart
Now I’m finally set free
I’m so proud to be me
That’s why I don’t care I just wanna say
I have no
La la la la la
I have no friends but that’s okay
I don’t need them anyway
I do my best all on my own
And I’d just rather be alone
Rather be alone
I have no friends
All I need is me myself no friends
I have no friends
