ในปี 2019 มูลค่าการส่งออกสินค้าของประเทศไทย เท่ากับ 7.5 ล้านล้านบาท
โดยสินค้าอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ มีมูลค่า 1.1 ล้านล้านบาท คิดเป็น 15% ของการส่งออกทั้งหมด

ที่เป็นแบบนี้ก็เพราะว่า ไทยถือเป็นหนึ่งในฐานการผลิตและผู้ส่งออกสินค้าอิเล็กทรอนิกส์รายใหญ่ของโลก
ไม่ว่าจะเป็น ชิ้นส่วนอุปกรณ์คอมพิวเตอร์, ฮาร์ดดิสก์, แผงวงจร และส่วนประกอบเครื่องใช้ไฟฟ้า

ทั้งนี้การระบาดของโควิด 19 ทำให้เศรษฐกิจและการค้าขายระหว่างประเทศ ต้องหยุดชะงักลง ซึ่งส่งผลให้ธุรกิจที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการส่งออกได้รับผลกระทบอย่างหนัก

แต่ดูเหมือนว่า วิกฤติครั้งนี้กลับทำให้ตลาดมีความต้องการใช้สินค้าอิเล็กทรอนิกส์เพิ่มมากขึ้น

แทบทุกประเทศทั่วโลกมีการใช้นโยบายปิดเมือง และสนับสนุนให้ประชาชนเว้นระยะห่างทางสังคม เพื่อป้องกันการแพร่ระบาดของเชื้อไวรัสในวงกว้าง

ทำให้กิจกรรมส่วนใหญ่ในชีวิตมนุษย์ ถูกย้ายไปอยู่บนแพลตฟอร์มโลกออนไลน์แทน

นอกจากนั้น การขยายตัวของธุรกิจยานยนต์ไฟฟ้า และการพัฒนาเทคโนโลยี 5G ที่ทำให้เกิดธุรกิจประเภท Internet of Things ก็เป็นปัจจัยส่งเสริมอุตสาหกรรมอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ในอนาคตด้วย

ดูจากผลประกอบการ ทุกบริษัทยังทำกำไรได้ดีในทุกไตรมาส ไม่เหมือนบริษัทในอุตสาหกรรมอื่นที่อาจมีการขาดทุนในช่วงปีนี้ ด้วยเหตุนี้ นักลงทุนจึงมีความสนใจต่อบริษัทอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ และคาดหวังถึงผลตอบแทนที่ดี จนราคาหุ้นของหลายบริษัทพุ่งสูงขึ้นมาก นับตั้งแต่เกิดวิกฤติโควิด 19

โดยเฉพาะหุ้น DELTA ที่ตอนนี้มีมูลค่าบริษัทสูงเป็นอันดับ 6 ของตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทย
แซงหน้าธนาคาร KBANK, SCB, BBL
ธุรกิจเครือโรงพยาบาลใหญ่สุดในไทยอย่าง BDMS

อย่างไรก็ตาม ปัจจัยเสี่ยงเรื่องหนึ่งที่ต้องจับตาดูสำหรับอุตสาหกรรมนี้ คือ “การแข็งค่าของเงินบาท”

ในปัจจุบัน เงินบาทแข็งค่าขึ้นมาอยู่ที่ระดับ 30 บาทต่อ 1 ดอลลาร์สหรัฐ ซึ่งส่งผลให้สินค้าอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ส่งออกของไทย มีราคาแพงขึ้นในสายตาชาวต่างชาติ

รวมทั้งประเทศผู้ผลิตรายอื่นที่มีค่าแรงถูกกว่าไทย เช่น เวียดนาม ก็อาจดึงดูดเม็ดเงินลงทุนและพัฒนาฐานการผลิต จนเข้ามาแย่งส่วนแบ่งตลาดไปจากบริษัทไทยได้

อุตสาหกรรมอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ไทย ได้ประโยชน์จากโควิด 19 ที่เร่งให้คนเปลี่ยนพฤติกรรมไปใช้งานแพลตฟอร์มออนไลน์ และอุปกรณ์ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับอิเล็กทรอนิกส์มากขึ้น

Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves
Ali Baba (Alī Bābā ) is a character from the folk tale Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves. This story is included in many versions of the One Thousand and One Nights, to which it was added by Antoine Galland in the 18th century.
