A lot of you must be wondering, how is the wound now? For being able to stand and walk, does it mean the wound is fully healed? (Here I mention all my wounds as a singular ‘wound’, cause I see them as one - of course it’s not just one area that was burned but multiple irregular shapes of wounds they are, on both my legs at the ankles area, bigger than a palm’s size, and one on my left knee). Not kidding but I’m extremely thankful, grateful, for the wound to recover at its fastest speed ever. Thank you my buddy (body) for taking up this biggest challenge so gracefully, really.
The wound had gone through all stages of healing and was healed, within the expected period of time, 3 weeks. My first physiotherapy session was on the 9th day after injury. The bandage was taken off on the 15th day. I stood up and walked without walking frame and pain on the 19th. Discharged on 20th. And I could finally wear my shoes on the 22nd. Returned to filming location for shoot on the 25th.
I once asked my doctor, when can I walk normal and work again? After 1-2 months, he said. I’m glad I’m already back to my normal daily routine now, only after 3 weeks ♡ What’s the current stage? Waking up every morning to notice the affected area (my new pink scars - that has different appearance and texture to my skin) to become lighter, day by day, bit by bit. The only new daily practice now is to apply cream (whatever that helps) to my scars, take in supplements, wear socks when I’m outside, and be really patient for the scars to disappear (probably not entirely) with time, which is about 1-2 years.
No heels. Never knew long dress like this goes so well with slippers ♡ Agree?
