達德能源集團 wpd Taiwan 計劃在雲林縣沿海陸域建置風力發電機，雲林公民團體不滿風機鄰近村莊造成噪音與眩影，環評卻全面闖關，甚至有六成獲得「免環評」同意函，今（4日）與跨黨派立委在立法院召開記者會，呼籲能源轉型也要兼顧環境正義。
達德能源也在同天發出聲明稿回應，達德旗下運維的風場有進行長期噪音監測，相關數據皆遠低於環保署法定噪音管制標準，可供外界檢視。對於雲林居民意見會虛心檢討。

WeatherRisk Explore Inc. held a press conference on “The Collaboration of Bird Survey in Yunlin Offshore Wind Farm” in Taipei on May 27, and announced that Yunneng Wind Power Co., Ltd. (wpd Taiwan) and WeatherRisk have signed a bird survey turnkey contract during the operation of the Yunlin Offshore Wind Farm, with a total of nearly NTD$ 70 million.
The Yunlin Offshore Wind Farm was developed by wpd Group and is currently the largest single offshore wind farm in the Asia-Pacific region, with a total construction budget up to NTD$ 94 billion and a total capacity of 640MW. The wpd Group officially commissioned the WeatherRisk to be responsible for the long-term and continuous bird surveys of the OWF to understand the relationship between the OWF operations and the surrounding bird ecology.
ChiMing Peng , CEO, WeatherRisk expressed gratitude and admiration for wpd Group and recognized that bird surveys at the largest wind farm has great significance, especially since it employs world-leading technology that can hopefully be applied to offshore wind farms in the future or even Stage 3 offshore wind farms, and to look at the development opportunities of offshore wind farms in Asian countries.
