There's something oddly calming about the sound of the loudness of a waterfall, when it's the only thing you hear as its power flows from your head to the rest of your body.

I like to envision that its cleansing me from all of the accumulated energies from my Earthly existence... Some are mine, some are not, and feel that it's washing away all my troubles and my mind is refreshed and rejuvenated again.

The sound of the waterfall silencing the noise from daily life, helping calm all the other voices too.

Ahh... Water... You give us so much yet all we do is take you for granted.

This particular waterfall was well worth the 1,600m (about an hour) hike down Gunung Serapi in Kuching last week.

Rayu trail... Try it. Its well worth it.

Rainforest rain ASMR.

This was about over 1000m into the forest in Gunung Serapi, on the Rayu trail, heading to Rayu Waterfall which was 1600m. Quite a challenging hike, then it started raining on the way, so I had to take a breather and record this beautiful moment.

Because the forest is so densed, the trees were tall and towering enough to have protected us from getting further soaked though rainforest rains are the best!

Just 30 minutes from Kuching. It’s an attraction to hikers, trail runners, photographers etc.

I’m here to kick start my training for 2019 trail running calendar. Going up 2500ft it’s a challenge when I have not been fully fit. Been inactive for the past 1 month.
