Yes, kids are gifts to parents from God. But to me, it’s not just the gift of life, it’s also a gift of healing- healing to the wounds I got as a child. As if I could travel back in time to be the adult to stand up for the child me & keep me from getting hurt. It’s also another chance for me to relive all the happy childhood moments through my boys (or even enhance them a little 😆).
