來美國前都只在電影電視中看過，沒想過自己會需要辦...
到了這兒才發現，沒有這組號碼很不方便...
而我拿的J1 visa是可以辦理的...
上網爬過文，查好要帶的東西以及最近的社會安全局,
Peter Fu就出發了...
（所有人都說要排隊搞很久，而且裡頭不能滑手機，
所以Peter Fu一早就出門，讓孩子們在家睡覺，
希望還沒開門前就能先排隊搶第一）
早上九點開門，我八點五十到...
映入眼廉的景像是一堆阿公阿罵已經在門口排隊抽號碼牌...
像極了醫院還沒開診，已經一堆病人排隊等抽血一樣～
「美國一堆老人退休沒事幹，就是成天上社會安全局問保險問社會福利，他們最不缺的就是時間～」
進去前Peter Fu和朋友抱怨，他這麼回答我...
等了約半小時，終於輪到我了...
我準備的東西有護照、證明工作簽證的DS2019文件、入境文件I-94...
（I-94是電子化文件，當一入境美國就可以在 https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/home
上面找到自己的資料，印一份出來帶著）
這應該是過去一週最有效率的一天...
櫃臺人員把文件收走，一邊打電腦一邊跟我哈啦幾句...
就叫我回家等資料寄來了～～

FORM I-94 AUTOMATION: US CUSTOMS TO ROLLOUT NEW ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE- RECORD
PROCESS
On April 30, 2013, the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agency, a
component of the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), began automating
the Form I-94 process at air and sea ports by eliminating the paper Form
I-94. Once fully implemented, the majority of nonimmigrants will only
receive an entry (or admission) stamp in their passport, which will include
their date of entry, class of admission, port of entry, and their status
expiration date (or “D/S” for F, M and Js). Paper I-94 cards will still be
issued in certain circumstances, the most common being for land crossings at
the Canadian and Mexican borders.
Los Angeles and San Diego Ports of Entry will be phased into this program
Tuesday, May 14th, so if you will be traveling internationally and returning
through these ports of entry, you should not expect to receive a physical
I-94 card upon reentry. All air and sea ports of entry will be phased in by
May 21st. To print out your electronic Form I-94, you will need to access
the CBP website at https://www.cbp.gov/I94 and follow the instructions (simply
type in the asked-for data) to call up your Form I-94.
These I-94 printouts may needed for the Form I-9, Employment Eligibility
Verification, or for 3rd parties, such as the Social Security Administration
or Department of Motor Vehicles, which require a Form I-94 for granting
benefits.
This federal I-94 database is expected to contain arrival information for all
arrivals retroactive to April 26, 2011, but CBP has announced that they are
behind in data entry, so there is a delay in populating this database
retroactively. For more information on this, please attachment to this email

If you are admitted with an electronic Form I-94 and upon checking the
database returns “Record Not Found” and there is no obvious data entry
mistake, then CBP recommends you visit their closest Office of Deferred
Inspection to inquire about the problem.
