Around a year ago, skateparks were rare in Bangkok, there were only around 3 places. But today I decided coming at FORTUNE TOWER RAMA 9 was interesting as it was very easy to access around where I live.
Around 10 years ago skate parks were a lot more common and a lot more extreme, today it's a nice location to just relax. I was more into aggressive inlines back then, and after the skateparks became bankrupt, went into skateboards because it didn't require a lot of space. Had to say I wasn't really good at it so i stopped. Then this, surf skate became a thing. So many skate parks starts popping up again. So nice to see them back at it again!
This is what it looked like, and my first surf skate experience in Bangkok.
LOCATION:
Fortune tower at Rama 9. By MRT go to rama 9 station and heads towards the building. Go up to the elevator to the 10th floor. Its basically a rooftop.
Recommended time to come would be at 5:20pm just the right time to see the sun set and people start coming in because of the sunset.
