As someone with a history of back pain, I have to be careful with what core exercises I choose so as not to flare any old problems. See the video for my FAVOURITE core exercises (without equipment) If you are choosing isometric (static) holds and are a novice start with 3 sets of 10 seconds and slowly build up!
