EYES ON THE PRIZE
Having been two of the more successful players at recent season finales, Viktor Axelsen and Tai Tzu Ying have set their sights on a new prize – the HSBC BWF World Tour Finals Trophy.
At this morning’s Unveiling Ceremony at the Royal Selangor Visitor Centre the world No.1 singles players agreed that getting their hands on the gleaming award in December is great motivation to keep working hard and doing well in tournaments.
In Kuala Lumpur for this week’s CELCOM AXIATA Malaysia Open 2018, Axelsen and Tai were among a group of players – the others being Chan Peng Soon, Goh Liu Ying and Goh Jin Wei of Malaysia – who attended the function at which Royal Selangor was announced as Official Trophy Partner of the HSBC BWF World Tour Finals.
The HSBC BWF World Tour Finals take place in Guangzhou, China from 12-16 December.
