Taiwanese officials from MOFA, the Ministry of Health and Welfare (#MOHW) and the Ministry of Justice (#MOJ) recently took part in a webinar hosted by the #US National Association of Attorneys General (#NAAG) on the #TaiwanModel of #PandemicPrevention! The discussion with legal officials at the offices of the attorney general of each state and the International Association of Prosecutors (#IAP) covered it all, from #BorderControls, to #LawEnforcement, #ContactTracing, #DemocraticGovernance, #teamwork and #PublicCompliance.
While the MOJ provided a safeguard for personal privacy and stopped #FakeNews in its tracks, the MOHW launched a #TrackAndTrace system and ensured #PublicHealth and MOFA coordinated border control measures, helped our citizens overseas and facilitated international cooperation and aid, including the donation of #PPE to countries in need in these challenging times.
