Big boy eats like he’s been starving for one month, finishes one whole bowl of WANTAN noodles o his own, and stops everyone from eating side dishes (fried WANTAN and nan ru fried meat), he says “I’ll take the side dishes as my snack ya!” Then rushes back to room for online class.
The portion is indeed really big, my hubby and baby Malcolm share one bowl of WANTAN noodles actually, and they’re full😂
Also, the soup which comes with noodles is pork bone soup, beautiful milky and tasty flavor.
Oh, noodles I order for myself is spicy hell hot panmee, I have to say, the spicy taste from Shi Fu noodle house is my all time favorite👍

客家木耳滷南乳炸肉便當🍱
今天也是換班的日子,早上吃了一份雞蛋三明治,就趕緊來煮飯給老公帶個便當。
這裡是三人份,泡發了很多的木耳,最喜歡滷得很入味的木耳。把前一晚就備好的南乳炸肉拿出來備用,拍幾瓣蒜,然後熱鍋和木耳一起炒香,把炸肉也一起倒進去,加水至完全覆蓋,然後中火煮45分鐘至肉軟化。最後用一點的蠔油調味就可以啦。
還有配菜杏鮑菇炒包菜,喝一點點解膩的青瓜。

Ingredients:
Serves 4
1st - marinate the pork for at least 2 hours

600g of pork loin with bones on
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
1.5 teaspoons of sugar
1.5 tablespoons of oyster sauce
2 pieces of red fermented tofu
2 tablespoons of brine of red fermented tofu
1 tablespoon of Chinese cooking wine (Shaoxing Huatiao wine)
2 teaspoons of cornflour
Before deep-frying, coat pork with sweet potato flour and rest the pork for at least 20 minutes before deep-frying.

As you know, we almost rarely cook on weekdays because of work. Usually we just dabao (get takeout) from the coffeeshops near our place and one of our favourite choices of dinner is economy rice or more fondly referred to as Cai Png in Hokkien. In case you didn't know what an Economy rice stall sells, think Panda Express-- the stall pre-cooked a good variety of dishes and customers can select any of these dishes to go with white rice. This sticky honey pork dish was inspired by one of the cai png stalls Roland usually patrons. They cooked this dish so well that I had to get Roland to cook it at home too.

A generous dash of white pepper
3 tablespoons of cornflour
2nd: Deep fry pork twice (1st fry over medium heat & 2nd fry over high heat)
3rd: Putt the dish together

4 cloves of garlic - chopped
1 cup of water
2 tablespoons of light soya sauce
2 tablespoons of honey
1 tablespoon of dark soya sauce

【Simpang Ampat实惠煮炒+火锅+鱼头炉同桌吃】
一次过可以Order煮炒,又可以享受火锅,还可以点 #鱼头芋头炉,无论是煮炒、火锅还是鱼头炉,价格都很合理,而且煮炒有配套哦,价格从RM48Nett起而已~
蘢香楼就在Simpang Ampat的Tasek Mutiara而已,这里的煮炒有Sipek多种类而且很多风味是在外面一般煮炒档口吃不到的比如鸡精当归鸡、菠萝鸡、泰式孔雀鱼、蒙古虾等等,而且我们点的所有菜色都很好吃耶,色香味俱全而且价格方面不贵,又有冷气吹服务生有勤快!!
#鱼头炉 - RM45(小)/RM65(大):鱼头芋头炉加入了很多芋头、番茄、白菜,喝起来汤头带酸后甘,炸鱼头口感不错,最重要汤头浓郁不过火。
#松花酸甜鱼 - RM42(推荐!!):超大一尾鱼将鱼肉切片酥炸并且去骨,再淋上酸甜酱汁,真的是好吃得不得了,酥脆得来又带酸甜不油腻,去骨之后吃起来非常容易又停不了口。
#泰式孔雀鱼 - RM48(推荐!!):如果想要吃酸辣的话可以考虑这款蒸鱼然后淋上泰式酱汁,师傅会将鱼切成好像孔雀开屏,视觉效果好没想到味道也不错哦~
#江南面 - RM18(推荐!!):如果一家大小很多人的话,点煮炒之余可以考虑点江南面因为分量很大而且超多料的。有炸面淋上勾芡汁,并加入很多材料。
#南乳炸肉 - RM13(推荐!!):我们吃过不少南乳炸肉,也曾经自制南乳肉,可是蘢香楼的南乳肉腌制得很够味,那个南乳香气SIpek香,放入口里咀嚼时阵阵南乳香齿颊留香。
#蒙古虾 - RM28(推荐!!):有点类似印尼虾不过这个甜味更突显一些,而且师傅炒得很入味,去壳之后酱汁依然保留在虾身,不过虾壳不禁让人想要一只舔了再添。
#火锅:这里可以选择配套或者单点火锅,目前暂时有猪骨清汤和TomYam汤,配套价格分别有RM29.90和RM49.90两种。
