【台美日澳 #GCTF 討論綠能發展】

氣候變遷持續發生，而台灣維繫地球永續發展的腳步從不落人後😎

外交部與經濟部能源局、工業技術研究院、美國在台協會台北辦事處、日本台灣交流協會、澳洲駐台辦事處，最近共同舉辦「全球合作暨訓練架構－綠能：開創潔淨及永續發展的地球」線上會議，期盼藉由 #全球合作暨訓練架構(GCTF) 攜手對抗氣候變遷！

外交部吳部長表示，發展 #潔淨再生能源 是因應全球氣候的關鍵，政府全力將台灣打造為 #亞太區域綠能中心，同時準備好與世界共同發展綠能，並以友邦 #聖克里斯多福及尼維斯 與 #馬紹爾群島 的再生能源計畫為例，展現「台灣能幫忙，且台灣正在幫忙」的精神👍

其他三國代表均預錄開幕致詞影片，來自泰國、日本、越南及歐洲各國總計50國約120名官員及專家線上參與，各國熱烈分享 #能源轉型 經驗及 #綠能產業 發展。

As #COP26 quickly approaches, it’s time for all countries to reflect on their #CarbonGoals and #RenewableEnergy policies. What better time then for #Taiwan, the #US, #Japan and #Australia to host a Global Cooperation and Training Framework conference on #GreenEnergy?

As part of efforts to #TackleClimateChange, the conference gave an overview of the global development of the green energy industry, and countries shared their experiences of energy transition.

120 experts and officials from 50 countries, including the US, Japan, #Thailand, #SouthKorea and several European countries took part in the online conference.

In his opening address, MOFA Minister Joseph Wu stated that clean and renewable energy sources are the key to fighting the #ClimateCrisis and that Taiwan is keen to become a green energy hub for the #AsiaPacific region. He added that Taiwan is also working with others in #PartnershipForTheGoals, citing renewable energy projects launched with allies #StKittsAndNevis and the #MarshallIslands.

斯洛伐克政府將捐贈一萬劑新冠狀病毒疫苗給台灣，部分運輸費用由歐盟承擔，這也是繼日本、美國、立陶宛之後，第四個捐贈疫苗給台灣的國家。

自疫情爆發以來，台灣當局在「台灣能幫忙，而且台灣正在幫忙」（Taiwan can help, and Taiwan is helping）的口號下，向世界各地，包括美國、亞洲和歐洲國家在內，捐贈了數百萬個口罩，其中向斯洛伐克捐出 70 萬個口罩。

在台斯洛伐克經濟文化辦事處於其 Facebook 專頁表示：「斯洛伐克並沒有忘記自己的朋友，一年前臺灣向斯洛伐克雪中送炭，捐贈了口罩。現在斯洛伐克也將貢獻自己一份綿薄之力，捐贈台灣一萬劑疫苗，表達支持。」

台灣文化部答謝斯洛伐克政府捐贈，在介紹斯洛伐克時指，它是世界上城堡密度最高的國家，也是一個洞穴王國，還有許多溫泉小鎮，無論歷史建築、自然景觀都十分精彩； 及指斯洛伐克和台灣一樣，在近代國家發展歷程中，不斷展現出對民主自由的追求。

【不放棄任何的機會 因為台灣能幫忙】

罹患血癌的恒恒，從馬來西亞飛越3000公里來台就醫，經過台中榮總醫療團隊1年多來悉心照護，到現在，看到恒恒跨出健康的步伐，一家人露出幸福的微笑‧‧‧‧‧‧

「不放棄任何的機會，你會看見不一樣的結局。」這是台中榮總黃芳亮主任的堅持，也是全體台灣人的信念。

在目前人員移動困難的狀況下，台灣仍專案協助300多名患者來台就醫。

謝謝所有第一線的醫護人員。

Every parent of a sick child is in search of a ray of hope. So for the parents of Heng Heng, a little boy from #Malaysia suffering from leukemia, finding someone like Dr. Huang Fang-liang, head of hematology and oncology at Taichung Veterans General Hospital, who doesn't believe in giving up until all the possible options have been exhausted, led them to uproot their lives during the pandemic to seek out treatment in #Taiwan.

In Taiwan we know that cancer and other serious illnesses don't go away in turbulent times, and we've persevered in our mission to help those in need around the world, bringing 300 people to Taiwan for treatment since January of last year!

Find out more about Heng Heng's story in the video below, which is dedicated to the medical personnel who keep hope alive for those suffering in the world, and the parents, children, siblings and friends for whom they mean so much.

當世界各國都找不到口罩的時候，台灣人不但上網就買得到，口罩還可以分大人、小孩、小小孩的尺寸。政府還要忙著說服大家，男孩子戴粉紅色口罩是沒關係的。

這是第一線防疫人員的努力，也是就算一輩子旅居國外的台灣人，遇到疫情，仍然希望回台灣的原因。

我們要繼續團結堅持防疫，繼續讓國人認同台灣、讓世界看到台灣，讓大家知道，台灣實在不一樣、台灣正在幫忙。
