首先，灰熊這次送走立陶宛中鋒華倫超拿斯 Jonas Valanciunas 加上今年首輪第17位和第50位選秀權，換來塘鵝的新西蘭中鋒阿當斯 Steven Adams 和後衛 Eric Bledsoe ，再加上今年第10位和第50位選秀權，還有原本來自湖人的明年前十受保護首輪選秀權。
