你們知道嗎？ 亞塞拜然也被稱為是「火之國」🔥 因為在十三世紀時，馬可波羅經過這裡發現巴庫附近的阿普舍隆半島有許多神秘的火焰從地表露出來🐪
也難怪這裡對瑣羅亞斯德教（拜火教）是個多麼神聖的地方！甚至在十七世紀還建造了 Baku Ateshgah 火之廟，讓絲路上的旅者都有個地方可以休息以及參拜🙏 而且不限拜火教的人，連錫克教、回教徒都一起共用🕌
火之廟中間的火焰，原本從十七世紀開始就一直沒熄過。直到 1969 這邊大量產石油，才被熄滅...😓 現在燃燒的火焰是用附近的瓦斯點燃的，雖然人工但還是蠻有意思的～🔥
距離火之廟不遠的地方有個地方叫做 “Yanar Dag” 👀 原本以為這個長達十公尺的火焰從好幾百年前就一直燃燒所以才特地過來看😌
這個地方門票費有夠貴！再加上看過土庫曼的「地獄之門」後就覺得很爛😈 沒想到居然是在 1950年代有個牧羊人不小心丟根煙下去而燃燒起來😠 到底要相信那個版本我不清楚，但是這個版本關係到這個門票費值不值得啊！☹️
我們也去參觀了在 2007年被譽為世界文化遺產的戈布斯坦岩石藝術文化景觀😊 這裡擁有六千多幅古代雕刻，平均約五千年到兩萬年之久👕😲
而亞塞拜然擁有全世界最多的泥火山🌋 當然我那天摔進去泥火山的故事就不用多說了...😅 說真的我覺得地形像是走在月球上有點誇大，但是夏天來泥火山口泡個泥火山浴確實蠻特殊的😆
這次在巴庫真的很感謝 Azerbaijan Tours and trips 的兩兄弟 Alishan 與 Miryusif 😊 感覺像是朋友當地陪，而不是導遊😁 而且我因為掉進去泥火山把他的車子用超藏，Alishan 不只沒嫌棄我，還建議把行程分成兩天讓我可以回家梳洗😢 超級感動～

Azerbaijan is known as "Land of Fire"🔥 When Marco Polo passed here in 13th century, he noticed that mysterious flames were appearing all over Absheron region🐪
We did a day tour with @travelinbaku to explore the peninsula 🚗 To see how the natural fires of Azerbaijan have played have a crucial part in the creation of Zoroastrianism- one of the oldest religions in the world🙏
The Baku Ateshgah or the fire temple was used as a Hindu, Zoroastrian, and Sikh place of worship particularly for travelers along the Silk Road🕌 Fires were burning long before the temple was built🔥
The center eternal flame was burning since 17th century until it was put out in 1969, after nearly a century of exploitation of petroleum and gas in the area😞
Not too far from the temple, there's this place called "Yanar Dag" where there's a 10M long of gas burning 🔥 Seriously it was so lame after seeing the "Gates of Hell" in Turkmenistan 😈
Plus, originally I thought it was cool cz it has been burning for centuries, turns out it was lit up by a shepard accidentally in 1950s 😒 Super overpriced, was not pleased😂
We also visited Gobustan National Park🌳 The region was declared as an UNESCO in an attempt to preserve the ancient carvings, mud volcanoes and gas-stones in the region🌋
Azerbaijan has the most amount of mud volcanoes in the world🌍 To be honest it didn't look all the special other than the fact I fell into it😅 Poor York had to hand wash all my clothes...👕
Had to go into Gobuston Museum looking all dirty to see the 6,000 rock carvings which on the average dating back to 5,000-20,000 years😲
Overall we had a great time in Baku thanks to Alishan and his brother Miryusif 😊 It felt like we hanged out with two friends rather than having a guide😁
