時尚攝影師Tim Walker,
在倫敦維多利亞與亞伯特博物館(V&A)中逛館藏、尋找靈感,
觸發點可能是件卷軸、是把鑰匙、是個盒子,
說不準是什麼,
總之觸發了Tim哥的腦迴路,
他再將奇思幻想告訴場景設計Shona,
由她把景喬好給哥拍。
(弄得每位看展攝影師都好想有Shona😆)
攝影作品本身的故事之外,
因為疫情關係,
館方與英國跨海連線布展的過程甘苦同樣吸引我,
(解說板內容都是Tim哥寫的,然後中文版格式完全比照英文版)

【終於結束的起點】
今天收到一個讓我總算是可以放下心中大石的包裹(嗎?)~總之,我拿到《Three Kingdoms Redux 三國得志》的樣品了,目前的成果看起來還不錯,傳說中的大盒套小盒的俄羅斯套娃收納法也夠瘋狂~這真的除了菜鳥這隻神經病以外,沒有人可以幹得出來了~
其實連傳說小妹妹也不知道,我上個禮拜還在弄【官方細則】的排版。這遊戲的工作量讓我有種無限迴圈的黑洞感,我記得那時候我甚至跟菜鳥說:『我沒有力氣看有沒有錯字喔,你要自己看喔~有錯字我不管~』其實除了工作量很繁複,然後前前後後改了很多次,而且是A改B,後來B又改C,最後又改成A的那種~讓我懷疑自己是不是進了勞改集中營。但說真的讓我最心累的,是那種不自由感,很多地方都不能按照我想弄的弄,因為光是要讓三間出版社都點頭就已經弄得焦頭爛額了~
最後關於菜鳥,大家可能以為我又要罵他了。不,其實,他是三間出版社裡面最好講話,被我最好奴役,還可以被我罵到臭頭的那一位~這也是為什麼每次我氣歸氣,罵歸罵,但還是有努力在幫他宣傳~咳咳,所以宣傳要來了!
最後再說一次,這絕對不是我排版的作品當中最滿意的那一個,但絕對是最累的!而且再怎麼樣,也比英文版漂亮許多!官方細則,大盒包小盒,這些也都是英文版沒有的!而且也真的好玩!如果你在找尋一款三人的策略遊戲!那就是它了-《Three Kingdoms Redux 三國得志》!

當老闆和客戶把你當許願池,你要如何知道哪個功能必須先做呢?
在設計產品上,藍圖相當重要,「產品藍圖」可大可小,可以大到未來三五年,大方向是每年要做什麼功能,小到未來三個禮拜,每個禮拜要做什麼事情。
不論如何,「產品藍圖」的目標,是要希望團隊知道,他現在在做的東西,到底最後要成就些什麼?現在做的這個小螺絲釘,最後到底是大願景裡的哪個環節。
每個階段的藍圖,扮演著成就下一個階段的重要角色,一個好的一年「產品藍圖」,絕對不是兩個六個月的藍圖連在一起就算,而是仔細地想過,在這未來六個月做的這些東西、學到了哪些經驗,會解鎖或是影響下一個六個月的藍圖。
你可能會問「那我要怎麼知道,要放什麼功能在藍圖上呢?」
此時,找出投資報酬率最高的功能。
可以靠經驗評估,做哪個功能報酬率比較高,或是請數據分析師,幫你做個商業個案分析,推估一下如果做了這個功能,大概可以多賺多少錢,假如公司沒有數據分析師,那麼商業數據分析的工作,就是要自己來啦!
舉個例子,比如說,你網站以前沒有英文版,但你發現有百分之十的流量來自英語系國家,而且競爭對手的英文網站流量成長很快,於是你推估,如果做了英文版,應該可以增加百分之十的流量。
另外一個你想做的功能,是改進「分享給朋友」這個功能,因為你發現,現在很多人主動分享你們的網站在社群媒體上,你覺得如果加個「分享給朋友」的功能應該會增加流量,你發現,現在透過分享來的流量已經有百分之二十,用戶訪談也說希望分享的用戶體驗更好一點,如果讓分享更容易,數據分析師推估,應該會多百分之二十的流量。
接著你問了工程師,他說做分享只要花一周,但做英文版要一個月,那當然,如果你的目標是增加流量,你肯定優先做分享的功能。
很多時候,個案分析當然有點主觀,畢竟是根據數字和經驗判斷推論出來的,不見得精確,但你可以抓三個可能的區間,分別列出:最糟可以增加多少流量、最有可能增加多少流量、最樂觀大概增加多少流量。
如果是高報酬、低成本,當然立刻做;如果是高報酬、高成本,那就是賭一把,可以等高報酬、低成本做完再來做;如果是低報酬、高成本千萬別做;如果是低報酬、低成本,那就有時間再做。
所以在規劃產品藍圖時,首先要確保的就是對公司有價值的功能要優先排進藍圖之中,而不是一股腦把所有的功能都排進去。

我知道網路上有一些非常小的文字型部落客或是遊戲玩家會認為,密技是我測試出來的、或是我一個一個去徵求其他玩家的同意並收錄的、攻略是我發現的,沒有我的同意,任何人都不得擅自使用,雖然說這種心情或許可以被理解(可能他是靠流量謀生的,想要保護自己的實測財產),但這卻是不合理且沒搞清楚狀況的錯誤觀念;遊戲密技與攻略之所以不會被法律保護,這是因為遊戲本身就是需要玩家去玩,密技與攻略是一個增加遊戲樂趣或加速破關進程的操作,並非是一個智慧財產要保護的標的,因此密技的應用,若被公開了,不管是誰發現的,誰最先開始討論的,收錄的,本來就是可以被其他玩家拿去實測,或基於這些密技,再添加新的玩法與測試,這道理應該不難理解,因此如果只是使用到其收錄的密技(或剛好部分雷同),就要被汙衊成抄襲仔,實在是說不太過去(當有利益衝同時,採取這種汙名化競爭對手的網路操作,是不難理解,但有必要嗎?我不是靠搞洛克人維生的,把我視為競爭對手幹嘛?很多影片都是綜合自己玩出來的親測結果產製而成,純粹是把這個系列當成影視作品在製作,再分享給有興趣的玩家看而已,再者表現形式也不只是單純展示畫面或照抄文字資料,我是有加入自己的改寫、改編、美編設計、親玩、剪輯等要素,不懂之前在炒作這個點的意義在哪?)。
老實講就法律上是可以提告妨礙名譽(正當的使用密技測試,卻被說是抄襲的話),只是想說若是同好,真的不想這樣去小題大作,大舉告人,畢竟我個人信奉的價值就是以和為貴,良善交流,以謙和前提來待人處事,我知道我無法用這種比較寬宏的道德價值,去要求每一個人,有些小部落客就算依法無據,也非常保護自己,這些我都尊重(只是讓人感覺無奈),但為了避免不必要的紛爭,我想我還是依照官方的授權使用規範來製作影片以及使用素材會比較好,然後把自己怎麼運用素材的方式,都清楚揭示,這樣一來也可以比較沒有爭議,這也是為何後來我影片說明欄,都會把相關使用材料標示清楚的原因。
也提醒未來有想要製作遊戲影片的玩家,盡量是使用官方提供的影音授權規範來創作,會比較沒有問題,至於碰到有人來說,你用到他收錄的密技的這種偶發事件,甚至想用這個理由來檢舉你的,我是認為禮貌上可以去溝通一下,如果對方堅持持續不講理,建議還是把聲明寫清楚,讓對方知道他於法無據,若再繼續以此借題發揮,騷擾、搞公審,你也會採取其他行動(因為於法無據的檢舉,YT也是不會受理),以上是一些關於製作遊戲影片時的經驗談,有需要的可以了解看看。

Skullgirls是一款2D平面格鬥遊戲,故事圍繞在Skull Heart(骷髏之心)這項神奇的物品上,有許願的功能,但只要許願的人心不夠純潔,願望則會扭曲,遊戲中講述各角色自己,以及與Skullgirl所發生的故事
影片中許多部分並未完全照英文字面意思翻譯,為了能盡量淺顯易懂,並傳達本作故事的劇情與要素,會在一些地方稍做調整讓[中文]看起來能夠更加流暢
並且 所有遊戲內的特殊名詞與姓名皆不翻譯

Big Band講話總有種老式偵探片的主角自白的感覺XD
有很多說法都很少見,卻也超有味道的,大家可以特別去留意看看喔!
0:38 "be on the take" 是有收賄或貪污的意思喔
1:43 "lit(light) up like a Christmas tree" 是一種還蠻有畫面的比喻方式
「像顆點亮的聖誕樹一樣」,聖誕樹很閃亮嘛~所以這個比喻是指光彩奪目的東西
或用來形容一個人笑得燦爛,表現出開心的樣子等等
2:02 Big Band說 "maybe catch a show"
"catch a show" 算是蠻普遍的說法,就是去找場表演看
動詞用catch(抓住)所以沒聽過的人可能會覺得蠻新奇的
那對應下一句
Cerebella說 "The show caught you!"
就是在反過來用Big Band的說詞回嗆他
Cere知道Big Band只是在找借口隨便忽悠,所以才反嗆說我抓到你想搞事了
這種恰好對應到特殊說法的回嗆在Skullgirls裡面還蠻常見的
例如Valentine戰鬥開場的嗆聲"Time for your physical." 就有機會觸發Cerebella的"Time for your curtain call." (押韻
2:21 Big Band說的"This just ain't my scene." 這種說法Eliza在她的個人劇情裡面也講過
簡單來說就是「這不是我的場」,看當下情境來解讀,可以是「我不參與這種場的」或是「我不是要找這個」等意思

因為當初他會來調查賭場就是因為Theonite訊號,顯然這龐大的訊號肯定是人為的
因為數據上來說這種程度的訊號天然的來源一定是Skullgirl,但他被調虎離山了
4:55 從台詞可以看出Double知道Big Band是曾經差點死掉的人被改造成的半機械兵器

例如巷子這類的地方,如果有其他人在你沒辦法甩一隻死貓而不去碰到其他人,所以後來被拿來抽換詞面就是形容很容易碰見... 或是空間很小

外貌上來說Big Band確實蠻金屬外皮的
之所以會被誤會也可能是因為Medici底下的怪人也不少... Medici跟Labs底下的改造士兵都還蠻奇特的... 可以說是能輕鬆看出來

說一下心得:
做這一類影片最困難的點,其實不是找資料(不是說「資料」不重要),而是「找畫面」,畫面必須親自玩出來,就像導演般,要等一個鏡頭、一個畫面的出現,有時會耗很多時間,也非常耗工,這也是為何做遊戲影片,其實沒有想像中容易,其他錄製遊戲、設計排版、剪接跟美感,又是另一項對創作者專業技術的考驗,如果沒有熱情,很難堅持,所以你的鼓勵是必要的,訂閱按讚跟分享,就是最大的支持。
再來必須強調的是,本頻道幾乎所有影片引述之資料都是採綜合資料參考,會列出資料來源,但恕無法一一窮盡或告知,實務上沒有人這樣做,就像寫論文引述資料,僅需列出資料來源但無須再取得作者或收錄者同意(除非該資料,包含營業機密資料、個資法保護之資料、或有個人肖像圖像資料等,那另當別論)。
另外,影片不會因為資料引述(多半資料是整理自綜合資料來源,非單一來源),就有所謂的正版不正版之分(這個說法真的極其荒謬,說到底真的正版是卡普空吧?!),影片是我個人創作,絕對具備創作正當性。

洪蘭的劣譯已經引起譯界公憤,有些沒在PTT出沒的高手
也加入掃蕩的工作了。Google+ 「譯人譯事」的格主,
上回把蘋果的相關報導翻譯為英文後,又在「語言本能」的
作者序、第一章揪出了33個錯誤。加上安徽醫科大學的老師尹力
所列舉的15個錯誤,洋洋灑灑共48個,都把它們翻為英語,
並寄給作者 Steven Pinker 教授了。希望英語世界的科普作者
也都能瞭解問題有多嚴重,不要再讓洪蘭糟蹋他們的作品了。
「譯人譯事」的格主希望有用FB或Google+ 的朋友能幫忙轉發出去,
形成社會壓力,不但肅清洪蘭既有的劣譯,更要讓她不能繼續製造受害者。

譯(英文說明)
洪蘭翻譯、Steven Pinker 原著的《語言本能》,光是作者序及第一章就至少有
33 個翻譯問題嚴重程度從不可思議的愚蠢大錯、硬傷,到漏譯細節、
原意稍被曲解的小錯,應有盡有。
另從第二章起隨便翻看,還可隨意找到 15 個錯誤(其中有的來自大陸教師/讀者尹力的
披露

This is a list of 48 translation errors found in 語言本能/语言本能, the 2004
Simplified Chinese version of Steven Pinker's The Language Instinct, 1994.
Daisy Lan Hung is the translator. Hung’s translation problems in Thinking,
Fast and Slow (快思慢想) by author Daniel Kahneman is recently reported by
several Taiwanese newspapers. You can read one of the news articles here.
The first 33 translation errors are found in the Preface and Chapter 1 of The
Language Instinct alone. For good measure, another 15 errors found by
exploring the rest of the book are added to the list. In each numbered
error, the relevant original English text is shown, followed by "->" and then
by the English "back-translation" of Hung's Chinese, in order to give English
readers an idea of what the problem is. The page number shown belongs to the
Chinese book. Explanatory notes are placed in {...}.
